Food was great and so was the service!
We held a "private" event at "It's Italian Cucina" on Feb 23, 2022 for the International Wine & Food Society (IW&FS). We had 47 people attend - our largest by far monthly wine event. Chef Fini & his staff did an outstanding job for us - they were "spot on" regarding service and produced a 4-course tasting event to remember! They gained some customers from last night. Excellent Northern Italian style cuisine - a fine culinary dining experience!

It's Italian Cucina offers an authentic Italian dining experience with a varied menu and good wine selection. The ambiance is wonderful, and the service is exceptional. Standout dishes include lobster ravioli, scallops, salad, pork chops, chicken parm, truffle mushroom risotto, arancini, bruschetta, and the BEST Espresso Martinis. The salted caramel cheesecake and limoncello mascarpone cake with caramel drizzle are must-try desserts. The food is always delicious, and the drinks, like the yummy cappuccino, are great. The owner often greets guests, adding a personal touch to the experience. While portions are generous for individual servings, they may be insufficient for sharing among larger groups. The outdoor seating area, with its shaded patio and misters, adds to the delightful experience. Most dishes are very good, and chef Al cares about making sure everyone has a great experience. The chef's special was a flounder with fantastic risotto, and dishes like beef carpaccio and lamb small plate are excellent. Overall, It's Italian Cucina consistently serves fresh and exquisite food, making it worth the drive from Houston to Austin.
