Brisket is delicious. The jicama slaw is really different. The scalloped potatoes are my favorite side. The sandwiches are very generous.

Amazingly consistent BBQ. As good, if not better, than most of the "famous" places around town. Plus the pork ribs and bbq sauce are the best I've had in Texas - beef is king in Texas but if you are craving some great hog, this is the 100% place. You can take your food to the bar / patio next door where there is a great green space and even a sand box and park for the kids to play.Kid-friendliness: Park with swings and slide and big sandbox next door where you can eat and the kids can play.

The Food was great. It was a great experience all around. The mac and cheese needs more flavor though. It was kinda dry and tasteless.

We like this place because we can take the food over and get a beer from the bar next door. The staff has always been nice, and food usually comes promptly.I personally think the sides are all great. The BBQ has been spotty, but on average it's pretty good. Prices are fair. Here's the value in BBQ places, though: the line here usually isn't long. Line-for-line this is the best BBQ I have found. I can go here, get decent food, have a beer, and not sweat it. Other food trucks are around to please all your friends.4.5 stars rounded up. This place is worth a visit for a no-fuss good time.

There are a lot of choices when it comes to a BBQ sandwich. However, look no further, Jim's is so good that when I'm not Austin I will make a trip to Jim's because his food is that good. In addition, it is fairly priced and I guarantee it will be a massive sandwich. It will dog gone fill you up. Try their slaw and either the key lime or coconut pie if you have room. Plus you'll always hear good music.

Definitely would recommend to come try this place on a day with good weather so you can enjoy the sitting area food was really well seasoned I really enjoyed the baby back rib the reason for the 4 stars is that the food came out cold even after waiting for a decent amount of

Why does this place not have 5 stars in every review?little trailer that service smoked brisket, turkey, sausage, and pulled pork. You know when you have smoked meat and they add that liquid smoke? This is not the place. Homemade food. Dishes made to order and they put their smoked meat flare into tacos. The Mac and cheese- gawd!! Aldente spiral pasta that they make into Mac and cheese- made to order. The jicama slaw- kinda reminded me of Asian slaw with a hint of ginger- so good! The prices are ver reasonable. For dessert, try the key lime pie- so creamy and that graham cracker crust- melts in your mouth! They have enough picnic benches near for you to enjoy your food! Best sliced brisket! Delicious!

This food truck has a nice view as it is by the road. It has plenty of seats as there were other food trucks behind them. The service was nice. There were two guys who were in the truck working on food. The food came out about 10-15 minutes. It was not that busy, but I can see how only two employees it can be. The food was delicious! The meats were tender and soft. However, it was not warmed up enough which we thought maybe they were not as fresh as we thought. The Mac and cheese was just okay. The scalloped potato had to be the highlight of the dishes we ordered. The scalloped technique created a different texture than regular potatoes, which we enjoyed a lot. The hassinator potato was delicious, and the Mexican twist on it with pico and pickled jalapeño really turned up a notch from regular bbq places. Overall, we enjoyed this place and would still come back again!

Was literally Bah-lown away by my Wolf Man sandwich. We were on our way to watch a show in Hudson Bend and needed dinner before. So we saw the ratings ÷ reviews and Jim's looked like the perfect on-the-way opportunity. Pretty straight forward menu brisket, sausage, etc options but the Wolf Man was the special on the side. He's the deal: brisket, jalapeños, bacon jam Jelly, and Mac and cheese ON THE SANDWICH. Sounds like a heart attack in a bun. However, my not- exactly- meat-loving wife said, "I'm going Wolf Man." Then I was in for the same. It was freaking amazing and when we finished we weren't obnoxiously bloated but perfectly satisfied. Highly recommend.

The five star rating is a huge deal--we had to give this food truck a try. Our experience was positive. The food was good, but nothing that would be outstanding or extraordinary. Staff are super warm and friendly. Patient too, as I took forever to decide what I wanted to eat. $7 sliced brisket taco was a good deal, with quality slices of meat. The flavors were on the bland side though, so I'd recommend getting one of the juicier items, like sandwiches. $4 Mac and cheese [side] was bland and meh, so skip this side. $12 chopped brisket sandwich is THE thing to get. It was massive--so much meat, that you will be full or be taking leftovers home. Meat was good quality--not too fatty. Chopped meat was drowning in BBQ sauce. I love copious amounts of sauce, so I appreciated this. BBQ is very sweet & sour, so be aware of its pronounced flavor, which might be overwhelming for some. It gets coooool up there in the mountains, so sitting outside, at the picnic tables, by the food truck will get cold. We were grateful that we were encouraged to go inside the nearby bar and consume our food there.

Google FTW! I googled BBQ near me... And this gem appeared with an online order form. These are some of the best pork ribs I have had in ages. The brisket was ok, we had ordered moist... And it was mostly lean. Still tasty and tender. Pulled pork was a bit sweet. We got scalloped potatoes, mac & cheese And jicama coleslaw. But those ribs! They were not covered in pepper... And cooked to perfection. I wish they had offered bread... Maybe they did and we didn't ask for it, or get it. Look forward to trying it out again.

10/10 went with girlfriend she loved it too. The surfers meal was amazing and they over pilled the meat :))) definitely a place you'd want to go back to. Right next to a busy road filled with other food trucks.

moist brisket was good, mac n cheese and scalloped potatoes were great! service was fast. there are picnic tables outside. they use rotini for their mac and i really liked the al dente version. i've not come across scalloped potatoes often so that was a nice surprise. it came with 2 different bbq sauces and both were great. enjoyed the meal and will be back.
