We like this place because we can take the food over and get a beer from the bar next door. The staff has always been nice, and food usually comes promptly.I personally think the sides are all great. There are a lot of choices when it comes to a BBQ sandwich. However, look no further, Jim's is so good that when I'm not Austin I will make a trip to Jim's because his food is that good. In addition, it is fairly priced and I guarantee it will be a massive sandwich. It will dog gone fill you up. Try their slaw and either the key lime or coconut pie if you have room. Plus you'll always hear good music.

Amazingly consistent BBQ. As good, if not better, than most of the "famous" places around town. Plus the pork ribs and bbq sauce are the best I've had in Texas - beef is king in Texas but if you are craving some great hog, this is the 100% place.
