As a recent transplant from the Bay Area, I wasn’t sure Austin could compete with the legendary sourdough, craft cocktails, or culinary creativity I left behind… until I found June’s.
The food? Exceptional. Fresh, inventive, and surprisingly reminiscent of California’s best, but with a soul that’s all Austin. Their bread alone rivals anything in San Francisco — yes, I said it. That good.
What really sealed it for me, though, was the service. Leda, the bartender, is a standout. Attentive, knowledgeable, and effortlessly welcoming. One of the best I’ve ever experienced — and I am sure to log more barstools in the future.
June’s helped sell me on Austin. I’ll be back often.

Such a good experience! Our server was tentative and the atmosphere was nice. Our food was delish. I would come back. The only thing I would say is the size of the table is really small. Wish they had bigger tables because it felt crammed at times.

Fun place with a great “modern diner” vibe indoors, as well as pleasant outdoor / sidewalk seating. The service was very friendly and efficient, and the food was excellent. Very creative menu, alongside classic choices. All fresh and beautifully presented. Walked in without a reservation mid-afternoon and was quickly accommodated. First time here - would definitely return.

Had the Steak A Poivre, the sauce was fabulous, the filet tender and perfect cooked to medium rare. Great service and a nice “French bistro” style atmosphere.
One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Service was exceptional and atmosphere was lively but not too much. This is a great spot for snacks and drinks, but if you go all-in for a full meal experience, you'll be happy you did. Great place to bring someone special.

This is a place that is low-key, a good place to meet mid-afternoon, but nothing special. The service was great and very accommodating. The carbonara was very bland. The burger was exceptional. Overall, the fries were the best, crisp, hot, and well-seasoned. Everyone loved the olive oil cake and chocolate tart. I was there to meet my granddaughters in mid-afternoon, and it was perfect for us. It was not cheap but worth it. The staff was very attentive and made great suggestions. I would definitely go there again.

Today I indulged in the steak au poivre, which was excellently prepared by the Back of House staff.
Update 21 Feb 2022, went to enjoy another steak this one was over cooked not even a hint of pink. I was definitely more “well” than “medium” I was hungry so ate it regardless. It was flavorful but texture and it being over cooked told me it was cooked far too quickly.
I did not recognize any of the staff, there was some turnover as most places in this time.
26 Dec 2025 Some newer offerings on the menu the Bucatini Carbonara it’s a nice change and was very good. Service was on very on point as usual.

Seriously, June's All Day is one of the top five best restaurants in Austin—always consistent in service quality and wine recommendations. It's the perfect place for New Year's Eve or celebrating an anniversary, with so many special treats and incredible service. Truly unforgettable.
