Just OK Hawaiian food. (I lived in HI for 3 years and gave had L&L in HI. )

Sorry, the portions were small for the price. Was expecting Hawaiian sized portions.

Had BBQ plate. Short ribs were very thinly sliced.

Food tasted OK, just not spectacular.

May try other items to see if they just had a bad day.

For years, I had to take a special trip to San Antonio to get L&L Hawaiian BBQ, but it was a super Happy day when L&L *finally* opened a storefront in Austin!!! I cannot resist their Loco Moco, Chicken Katsu, and Spam Musubi. Every time I am in South Austin, I *always* have to stop by!

Wow. Just wow. We have been driving past this place for years but had never tried it. We ordered a bunch of things, maybe 5 different dishes. The star of the night was the lumpia, but the pork chop and pork riblets were incredible as well. The ramen was great. The pulled pork was so-so. The musing were interesting.

All in all, we were all pleasantly surprised and will come back again.

Not a great place to dine in, however.
