Lustre Pearl South is a welcoming restaurant with friendly and efficient staff, known for their great sense of humor. The bar offers a variety of beers and a sizable patio with an amazing outdoor area. There are two buildings, each with different vibes—one has a stage and an upright piano. The bartenders, like Matt, are upbeat and personable, and the drinks are fantastic. The owner Chris is down to earth, and the place has a cool, funky South Austin vibe.
While there is no kitchen, several food trucks outside serve impressive food options, though they do rotate. The restaurant is suitable for families, wheelchair accessible, and has plenty of parking. Kids love the space, and there’s enough room for them to play. It’s a great place to relax, have a drink, and enjoy a good time, whether dressed up or down. The back area can even screen films outside. Located in a convenient south Austin location, it’s perfect for day drinking or private parties.
