Oh my, this place was phenomenal. Asked a friend who lives here where to go for good Tex-Mex because I hadn't been to Austin area since I moved away 25 years ago. She did not steer me wrong. Nor did our server Juanita. She took amazing care of us and was friendly and chatted with us. Highly recommend the fajitas, the picy mezcalitas, and the Tejas ceviche. The first time we tried to come here it was a 3 hour wait but after finally eating here I completely understand why! The food and service are phenomenal. As a vegetarian there were soo many options. We went for a birthday dinner and had a great time. We're going to add this spot to our regular rotation.
I can’t say enough good things about the food—it was absolutely amazing! The green salsa that came with the chips was so delicious I almost didn't leave room for my main course. My husband had the chile relleno with carne molida and couldn't stop raving about it, and my steak quesadilla was fantastic, too.
