I’m not a fan of the way they asking you for tips. Only 18% 20% 22% and custom option on the screen to enforce you give some tips. Giving you pressure to not press CUSTOM button. You need to order a coffee while standing in the line, take the drink by yourself and return the cup by yourself. Then what’s the tips for? I prefer to go to Starbucks than visiting small business asking for tips like this. Drinks are okay. BTW no free parking.

It’s really busy in the morning, but I enjoyed the coffee. It has the charm of a European coffee shop, small in space but very cozy!

I’m a fan of Merit. Love their coffee; appreciate their staff. But this location might as well be an animal shelter. This was my first time remote working from this location, and I was repeatedly harassed by people’s dogs. One jump on me, causing me to spill coffee on my shoes, others were barking at each other, and other, completely off a leash, just came under my table and started licking my shoes. I don’t begrudge the dogs…they’re dogs, but their owners are either sociopaths or just oblivious, and I’m disappointed that Merit permits non-service animals into their stores. Not only is it insensitive to their patrons, who may have allergies or made uncomfortable by animals, but also unsanitary.

The single origin espresso was decent -- a TAD too bitter. And served too hot (burnt my tongue). Medici Roasting had a better single origin shot.
