I used to love this store, but it’s recently gone way down hill on produce quality. I recognize that it’s hard to balance having fresh produce, good stock, and low waste in a small store, but the produce is often spoiled and covered in swarms of flies.
We used to live in the neighborhood across the street, and this market came in so clutch on countless occasions when I needed an ingredient or two for a recipe. I wouldn't do a full grocery trip here, but if I needed some fresh produce or basic ingredients ASAP, Mi Casa Market always came through. Very good selection at reasonable prices, and it was never too busy or crowded. The food from their in-store cafe was also delicious and freshly made.
