“What a great place. Auntie cooking it up, and the bro handling the register, instantly make you feel like family. The food is amazing. I took it Togo and they didn’t close the box so the samosas stayed crisp. These people care and will take care of you. Thanks y’all and I will see you again soon

“Food quantity is awesome as compared to other halal restaurants near by. Customer service is on point. Wait time is 5-10 min. Cleanliness is key at this place. Our food came hot and fresh. I tried the Mongolian Beef and also tried some of the Asian items and they were all good. I really hope the quality stays as it was simply delicious. Will come back again for grill items as we saw some other customers order and it looked yum!“

“Chatpata Austin is a vibrant Indian fusion food truck located near the University of Texas area, surrounded by a diverse collection of food trucks offering cuisines from around the world. The lively setting, combined with the variety of options available in the area, creates a fun and energetic dining atmosphere.
The menu offers a wide range of choices, from traditional Indian classics and street-style chaats to creative fusion items such as paratha tacos. We tried several items during our visit. The chaats were generously portioned; however, the serving size felt slightly larger than necessary relative to the pricing. A more balanced portion-to-price ratio might enhance the overall value.
The butter chicken was well-prepared and met expectations, offering the familiar flavor and richness typically associated with the dish. The masala tea was enjoyable and well-spiced. The lassi, however, was milder and less sweet than expected, resulting in a simpler yogurt-forward taste.
One of the strongest aspects of Chatpata Austin is the efficiency and cleanliness. The service was quick, the setup appeared well-maintained, and the overall environment felt safe and welcoming.
In summary, Chatpata Austin provides a lively food truck experience with a diverse menu and fast service. While some items may vary in flavor and value, it remains a worthwhile spot to explore, especially for those interested in Indian fusion cuisine.“
