Service is friendly and attentive but a bit slow. If you have time and like good steaks in a not crowded restaurant, then this is the place for you. The only negative thing is that they have no Malbecs at all, and no Cabernets by the glass.
After reading some negative reviews, I was a little hesitant to try Salt and Time. However, my friend and I had a very tasty lunch with great service. We split the bread (with blue cheese butter and marrow butter), ceasar salad, and buffalo chicken sandwich (with beef fat fries). We went here times in our visit to Austin. I have no idea why the reviews are low. This place has amazing food, friendly staff, great service, bright atmosphere. Good for brunch, lunch dinner and dessert.
