During a recent convention stay, I had the pleasure of dining twice for lunch at SWB in the Hyatt Regency on the lake. The experience exceeded my expectations, especially for a hotel venue. The lunch buffet and salad options were simply spectacular. Alyssa on the first day and Jeremy on the second ensured a consistently enjoyable dining experience. Although the food was a bit slow coming out of the kitchen, it was understandable given the busy event.
The Southwest Bistro (SWB) in the Hyatt Regency is a commendable dining option, especially for a hotel venue. The lunch buffet and salad options are particularly impressive. Service from the staff, including Vanessa, contributes to a pleasant dining experience. Although food may take some time to come out of the kitchen due to the busy events, it is worth the wait. The bar serves excellent drinks, including the "Rich Texan" martini, and the chips and queso are above average. Burgers are also reported to be excellent. The restaurant's location within the Hyatt Regency, next to the lake, provides a great atmosphere.
