Beautiful, healthy, delicious food. Everything on the menu is exemplary - made with care, made with health in mind. In the hustle and bustle of hipster foodyism, in which fried/salty/alcohol-infused options are ubiquitous, Spread attempts to level the playing field with amazing alternatives that better one's life. What a lovely little spot to pop in and have a cappuccino and some delicious cheese and (local!) crackers! I am visiting Austin and was looking for a place to sit and relax and write a few letters of recommendation. Wonderful service -- the woman behind the counter was very knowledgeable about the cheeses in the case (I ended up with Caveman Blue and Chabrin - both wonderful), helpful and kind.
