This tasty casual Korean food spot is hidden on the second floor inside the Dobie mall (above Target). It’s run by the same family for 30 years, and the food is every bit as good as I remember from undergrad. Unfortunately there isn’t any parking you have to walk or take the bus to get there. Great bulgogi, bimimbap, and spicy squid.

Warm welcome and comfort food heaven at Oma's Kitchen.

A gem of this community, and a testament to the beautiful cuisine and hard work that immigrants bring to our Nation. The older Korean couple who operate this establishment are kind, thoughtful, generous and talented--the food is incredible.

The cashier and the owners are very kind! Food is very straightforward. The soondubu-jjigae with beef was very reminiscent of home food, it was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The price was fair and the quantity was perfect for a filling meal! It was about $11.85 I believe with tax. The photo of the meal does not do the food justice, it tastes great I promise!Note: They do not take Bevo even though currently it says on the Bevo merchant site that they do

Stopped here for a quick lunch on my break, had a great experience with service and food alike. It's ran by an older couple who are very kind. The kimchi fried rice I ordered came out pretty quick and it was piping hot and fresh. Highly recommend checking them out if you're here and want a healthy bite. Very reasonable on the prices too, by the way the pickled veggies and sprouts that come on the side were amazingly delicious

Little mom-and-pop inside a food court, so don’t expect anything fancy. Cheap and delicious. Got the bibimbap and comes with a side of pickled veggies. Not sure if the building it’s in is being renovated or if it’s on the verge of closing down given the lack of shops/food stalls at the time of my visit.

For what it is, it is bomb fast casual Korean food! The service and the food was amazing. I got the Soon Du Boo with Beef and the Japchae. You cannot go wrong with any of those dishes. They give you plenty of rice. It was perfect Korean comfort food. The price point was really good. When I stay in ATX again, I will eat here again!

I recently visited this spot for Soondubu Jigae, my favorite Korean dish, and I must say, it's a pretty solid choice in Austin. It is located near the UT Austin campus hidden in an Asian food court. The owner was super friendly and got our food out super quickly. Seafood Soondubu Jigae - For the price, I couldn't recommend this place enough! The broth is very seafoody, and the tofu is silky smooth. I do wish there were more chunks of tofu though. I opted for the seafood version, and the mix of ingredients was very homey. The spice level was just right for my taste. I liked that they had some banchan, although I wish there was more. Overall, this is a reliable spot for Soondubu Jigae. I would definitely come back! While it may not be mindblowing, it's a dependable choice for a satisfying meal.

Worst Korean food I ever eaten. I recommend avoid the ddokbbokki it doesn't taste like authentic at all. Garbi was responsible. But I really don't recommend

The bibimbap is terrible. The beef was ground and completely unseasoned. I ate a piece on its own and couldn’t even taste any salt or pepper.
