“Finally discovered Sosu’s new location and couldn’t be happier they’ve moved from ghost kitchen to a full restaurant! The space is great - big seating area with a real izakaya vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Service was super attentive from the moment we walked in.
We came for the rice bowls and tried the Garlic Buta Toro and Truffle Cream Gyupasta. Both were absolutely delicious - so good that we ended up ordering more to take home! If you love Japanese food, this place delivers. Plenty of free parking, which is always a win in Austin.“

“My wife and I first tried Aburi Oshi at their Japanfest popup and we found their food incredibly tasty! They are obviously passionate about what they are doing and it comes across. It is chefs and restaurateur like these that make Austin so special. We need more of it. We thought the price point was fair for the wonderful quality and quantity of the sushi we received. Can’t wait to visit them once they have their brick and mortar restaurant up and going!“

“The unagi roll with brie was outstanding! And the taiyaki was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the perfect subtle sweetness of red beans. An elevated yet affordable take on authentic Japanese flavors. So excited they moved in right next to my workplace! 😁
Fast, friendly service. The maneki neko and Japanese music are a nice touch. I'll certainly be back soon! ご馳走さまでした!“
