My nephew wanted to try Ethiopian food, so we found ourselves here while in Austin. The food was good. It was better than the first time I tried Ethiopian food in Houston. I think the part that you have to get used to is the bread. You use the bread to scoop up your bites of food. The bread itself is different than anything you have had. It kinda reminds me of a savory pancake. Yes, the food was good, but the best part of this experience was our waitress Miriam. She's so cute, and the sweetest person ever! 💗 I could have talked to her all day. Thank you for giving me a big smile Miriam!!

Yummy with a glass of honey wine. Great place to experience the rich spices of Ethiopia. Enjoyed every bite wrapped in Teff Injera (gluten free).
I love this place. Delicious and filling ethiopian dishes with great food-sharing experiences. However, my friends and I returned for the third time this weekend, the dishes were less spectacular, especially the beef and lamb entrees are not as well-seasoned/marinated. They use significantly less spice and so the dishes were less flavorful than before. While my white friends like them, I’d prefer more spices and better marinated food.

Absolutely delicious and flavorful food with friendly service. We had the vegetarian sampler platter, the #1 lamb and the #4 chicken. Loved chatting with the lovely and vibrant Miriam :)

This is as good as it gets. I’ve had a LOT of Ethiopian food in a lot of places, and this is the top. Super fresh and flavorful, tons of vegan options, and the lunch buffet (Wednesday - Friday) can’t be beat. Highly highly recommend.

Home away from home !!! W/O Feker was has an amazing personality! It was a blessing to be served by a such caring and loving person. The food was delicious. ጣት ያስቆረጥማል። From the time we arrived until we left the restaurant, we enjoyed our stay and conversation with Feker. I definitely recommending this place to my freinds to go and test the foods and wish to visit again.

What a hidden gem! We love Ethiopian food and were happy to discover this restaurant just a short drive from our hotel. The food was amazing and Miriam was so delightful! We had a great conversation with her! Please go support this local restaurant!
Vegetarian options: We had the combo for two that included most of the veggie items and they were all fantastic. Make sure you add on the potatoes!

Have been wanting to try this place for a while, but if you’ve had authentic Ethiopian food, you will be extremely disappointed. No flavor, the lamb was very hard to bite through and also literally had no flavor whatsoever, which is so weird because it’s lamb, and overall just not anywhere near Washington DC level Ethiopian food
Came during New Year's celebration. Amazing buffet. All the food tastes authentic. Clean tables. Friendly staff. The coffee is also served Ethiopian style and it tastes like heaven
Parking: Parking garage entrance on the south most side of the strip at the end of the building.
