I ordered the étouffée and it was just a little too spicy (hot) to my liking. The other people in my party ordered fried catfish and/or shrimp. I usually order fried shrimp when I dine here. I think I had to drink three glasses of sweet tea to deal with the heat of the étouffée. I love cajun food and cajun food is supposed to be very well seasoned, not just hot. I probably will not try the étouffée when I return to The Boat. Our server was very good and attentive to our...

We ordered the Rockefeller oysters and they were real good. I just wish they were more charbroiled. We had to ask for service after waiting 20 minutes.
I feel the atmosphere inside is a bit gloomy but the food looks amazing and we are going to give this place another shot 😀

The Boat was walking distance from my hotel Hampton Inn and Suites. Menu had a lot of variety with specialties from the South. The Servers were friendly and worked well as a team. The Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita and the Salted Caramel Cheesecake were my favorites! Thank you to everyone who made my experience fun and enjoyable!
