I love a stack of pancakes, bacon, with some over-medium eggs, and possibly a glass of juice. The coffee is always hot.

My first time in the new location. Great atmosphere even in a little strip center. Huge portions. Bottomless coffee. Great diner staples.

This breakfast spot is enjoyable, although the hot cakes seemed to have been mixed for too long, resulting in a flatter texture. However, they still tasted great. I particularly enjoyed the huevos rancheros; while the tortillas didn't seem homemade, they were served soft and warm. The black beans were excellent, and the breakfast potatoes had a nice crispy texture. The green sauce had a kick to it, while the red sauce was chunky and flavorful. My brother loved his veggie omelet, and my nephews couldn't get enough of their chocolate chip pancakes. Overall, the menu items provided good value for money.

The Omelettry has been an Austin institution for decades, keeping a loyal following with its excellent food, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly service. I have always loved the omelettes and the pancakes, and I love that they happily serve pancakes as a side for the omelettes! Win/win! The place is crazy busy on weekends, but the good food is there all day every day.Do know that there is awesome coffee and no alcohol.

Great service, and great food. Nice to see a little bit of "old school" Austin still exists.

Best omelettes and pancakes anywhere!! We can’t eat breakfast out anywhere else— it’s too good here!! We’d eat here every day if we could!! I meant to take a pic of the foods but when it arrived I was too excited and forgot. Haha! Vegetarian omelette and 1 buttermilk, 1 gingerbread pancake every time!!!!Vegetarian options: I’m not vegetarian but the vegetarian omelette is my favorite. I cannot order anything elseDietary restrictions: Can make any alterations requestedKid-friendliness: From what I’ve seen I believe the restaurant offers coloring page(s) and crayons

Omelet with pancakes is a great idea! Service is great. Atmosphere is lovely. Pancakes are also great. The omelet is not that special though, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
