The Al pastor taco is my favorite because the meat is moist and flavorful. I always get one of the especiales because they’re huge. Service is quick and the online ordering system is nice. It’s a bit pricey but average-priced for central Austin.

Was visiting the city and was in the mood for tacos. With a name like the one it has I had my hopes up for this place. This review is for tacos only.... I did not have any other things on menu. Here we go...for a restaurant that literally has tacos in it's name they only offer 3 different tacos. Out of the 3 different tacos, only one is close to being original... The al pastor and they're just ok. Their asada tacos have tomatoes! Real tacos don't have tomatoes! If i want tomatoes in my tacos I'll go to taco bell and get them cheaper... If you're looking for OG tacos, this is not the place. There are other places in Austin that have OG tacos.Other than that, place was cozy...service was friendly, but if you're in the mood for good OG tacos, this not the place.

Small place on a corner with a couple of tables to sit. Service is nice and quick. Tacos al pastor al flavorful. Could use a little more protein to fill the tortilla. Their green sauce is delicious and mildly spicy. I also had a campechana that was good but it was at best lukewarm warm when served. It had a nice cheese crust and the flavor was there.

I am not sure if this is a hidden gem but it is definitely a gem nonetheless. Based on the traffic, most of Austin already knows about it. I am always on the hunt for some good breakfast tacos. Who am I kidding I am always on the hunt for good food! And this place definitely delivered. Once again I had out of town guests and I had to show Austin off for their great variety of breakfast tacos from taco trucks or small quaint spots. I did some very intense digging and found this to go spot. It is nestled on the end of a mini strip mall with not much outdoor seating. No biggie cause most people were taking it to go. I wasn't sure what I was going to purchase but I knew I wanted tacos and there better be some eggs included. I approached the window and with many other things in Austin, don't judge the book, they had me at "HOMEMADE tortillas"! The lady taking the order was so focused on our ordering experience it felt like I was at my grandmas house making plates around the kitchen island. She was so welcoming, fast and attentive. My brother and I ordered the bacon, egg & cheese and chorizo & egg tacos. They were made to order so no worries about cold hard eggs or shells. My brother broke tradition and got one of his on corn tortilla but I stood strong. They came out within a decent amount of time and since they were so fresh, we opted to cop a squat at one of their three tables. There was just enough salsa, two kinds, and the perfect portion for the price. At first I felt that the cost of tacos were a bit steep but when they delivered them, they were extremely hearty, not lacking in flavor or portion. I can proudly say my brother left with the best breakfast taco experience he will have. Being from the Caribbean Islands, he couldn't understand the hype..now he does. I am not in Austin city proper but you better believe I will be returning to this spot in the very near future. There were some other creations that I have to try. They had me at "homemade tortillas"!

I recently visited this taco place and had an incredible experience. The breakfast tacos were superb, with deliciously crafted tortillas that added a perfect touch. The Mexican mocha complemented the meal perfectly, making it a delightful culinary experience. Highly recommended!
