When I was an actual college student this place scared me, it looked old and it didn’t seem like it’d match my alt/whatever vibe but now that I’ve started coming here I wish I could go back to my younger self and slap em.This place is good, like surprisingly so. Super cute! Stoped here for a drink and some food while waiting on a friend to finish up an appointment. Friendly staff I’m anxious going to places alone and didn’t have a problem here. I felt super welcome. The food was also awesome and prices were an added bonus.

This is the corner bar of UT and APTS. As a gradschool nerd I loved this place 15 years ago when I was in seminary. Now that I work as a Dean, I still love to walk over for a great beer and burger at a legit price. Mid day or happy hour or late at night before a show, the crown&anchor is an anchor.
