This place was absolutely delicious! I’ll be back for sure!
We really enjoyed our first time at Yeni’s! Yeni was so kind to walk us through the menu. We tried and loved the chicken with yellow rice and Rendang and both were delicious.

We drove all the way from Houston to Austin just to try Yani’s Food Truck, and it did not disappoint!
The owner is super friendly and an amazing cook. Everything we ordered was delicious and had authentic Indonesian flavors that truly reminded us of home.
Definitely worth the drive, and we’ll absolutely be back again!

Worth the drive if you're not close to north Burnet. As to the food all I can say is holy moly. I thought I liked Indonesian cuisine before, but this truly sealed the deal. Yeni, if anyone on this planet makes better fried shrimp than you, I fear to meet them.

So happy to find out indo food in Austin !
Surprising me is the guy who serve us is in denial !
Doesn't wanna acknowledge that he's indonesian despite his parents is jakarta and menado as he said keeping saying i am american! Well i have 3 american kids and they are proud to say their background is indonesia!
Yeni is very sweet. We tried their food at a stall and it dropped my jaw but I had to pick it right up so I could chew. Also blessed with the portions!

The Indonesian fried or grilled chicken was so delicious! It paired perfectly with the spicy sauce (forgot what it’s called) it came with; the peanut sauce was spot on too. The yellow rice that came with was 👍 I didn’t like the empal getong coconut cream with brisket: wish the portion was bigger and the soup had an exotic taste to it that I’m not familiar with nor a fan of. Overall, would recommend it and would come back to try other dishes! There’s only outdoor patio for dine-in but don’t recommend girls sitting alone since the surrounding area didn’t seem safe (to me).

Friendly little food truck. I stopped by to try their Ketan Hitam after it appeared in the New York Times best dessert list. It did not disappoint, a contrast of flavors and textures at first that blend together to a sweet melange.
The food truck is located next to the owl bar with a few picnic tables alongside to enjoy something from both establishments. They share a small free parking lot.
I look forward to trying more of their thoughtfully created food.

This is a no brainer. Go, just go. If you don’t like it you need to go see a doctor, something is very wrong with you.
