Then they set us up on a private pistol plinking range behind some giant tires. The Marton family that runs it is very friendly and lives the story of the American dream. What a great day!!!”

“Slovaceks has decent baked goods. Sausage is good. Beware of brisket (ask for it to be trimmed well of fat). Good selection of highway rest stop commercial items of many types. Good place to stop before hitting the Waco area if you are Southbound on I-35.”

“My first time ever at Heitmillers Steakhouse and I loved everything about it. Great atmosphere, very appropriate for a steakhouse. Food I ordered was a 12oz ribeye, grilled mixed vegetables, and a loaded baked potato. All of it was perfect! My server Sharon, was awesome as well! Superb customer service, in my opinion, is a dying art. She was the most polite, sweetest, and attentive server I have had at any establishment in a long time. Highly recommend requesting her if she's working when you visit!!”

We had the steak taco fajita salad. Steak was really good and flavorful and chalupa plate. Everything was great, fresh and cooked to order. Except the canned orange cheese sauce. It was on the chalupa and was awful. It covered up the great taste of the meat. Very thick chips, possible homemade? Salsa was good and spicy.
No alcohol served. Will be back!!”

It’s more of a pick-up food place rather than a stay-and-eat place.Their strong suit is their chicken package with 1 whole chicken, rice, charro beans, tortillas, grilled onion, and salsas all for $20. It feeds about 4 grown hungry men and it’s a good deal. It is ready in about 3 minutes.The chicken has a good flavor of being grilled over coal. The rice is decent. The charro beans have good flavor. The salsas are good but the green one is especially good.The taqueria has a wide range of food. They also have a rib package which is a bit pricier than the chicken but still good and tender. The pupusas are good and made on the spot so it has a bit of wait time. Their fresh waters are good and huge. Their tamales are good sized if a bit lacking in taste.There is ample parking and wheelchair accessible.Try this place it’s really good, with a wide selection, and reasonably priced.”
