“I have been craving tacos de trompo for the longest. I usually get them in Duncanville when my kid is playing softball. Didn't realize we had this place so close to home!

“Hands down the best tortoise in Texas. I know that's a bold statement but I've spent a lot of time in Houston and everywhere in between and I have had a tour to that compares. Very nice people in a great atmosphere the store itself has a large variety of different things you may want or need. When I was on my way home from Houston the first thing I was the most excited about was stopping here to get a torta LOL. Their Barbacoa is on point!“

“This is no longer a free standing restaurant. It is located inside Turkey Mountain Feed & General Store (since Feb 2025 and as of this review in July 2025). There are two picnic tables outside for eating at. The staff is very kind and helpful. The tacos were very good (we tried carne asada, pollo, barbacoa, and al pastor). They come with grilled pineapple (which was fabulous), grilled onion, raw white onion, cilantro, lime, green sauce, red sauce and charro beans. We paid $20 for 8 tacos and it was a lot of food. I am happy for the price for the proportions. Not the best tacos I’ve had but very very good. I would come back if we were close by (I just maybe wouldn’t drive the 40 min we did tonight).“

“Service is always great here. When my Family and I came in our server was Brookelyn. She is amazing. We were having a discussion at our table about how great Brookelyn was, and a few minutes later, the table next to us came over and was telling us how great they thought Brookelyn was also. And we just all agreed she is amazing every time we go there. We always ask for Brookelyn to be our server, and I have been there a couple of other times and over hear people telling her how great she is. And we agree also. And the food there is really good. So if you see a bad review on the food, just know that there is always someone that will not like the food......no matter how good the food is. I chop it up to....they don't really like Mexican food that much. Probably a Steak and Potato kinda person. I will always find a way to eat at El Paseo. I have been eating there for years. I love it and I always send other people there to eat also. Love this place sooooo much.“

“Today while pet client visits in Azle, I stopped by Taco Casa (Azle) for a quick lunch. Having spent most of my life in the food service industry, I truly appreciate a well-run operation—and the team at the Azle Taco Casa delivered in every way.

The cashier greeted each customer with a smile and friendly conversation, as if they were lifelong friends. The lady handing out orders wished everyone a great day. The whole place radiated warmth, efficiency, and a genuine sense of community.

Community is what Azle is all about, and this “fast food” experience turned out to be a masterclass in both operations and hometown hospitality.“
