I like the red salsa because of its flavor but is what I would consider mild/medium in heat. I liked the tamales enough that when my mom came in town that I brought her here for tamales.“

“Today's lunch was outstanding. They make their own chips and tortillas onsite. The salsas I had were a compliment to the chips with flavor and spice that was not overwhelming. The Taco's carbon fajita meat with tender. Having traveled most of big cities in America, this place ranks high enough for me to right this recommendation the same day. They only serve lunch so don't miss out. The staff is very friendly and the food is outstanding.“

This place lives up to its name completely! El Compadre Tacos e Mas truly made me feel like a close friend from the moment I walked in. The hospitality here is incredible, and the entire team treats you like an old friend. On top of the amazing service, the store was very clean and well-maintained. The food came out incredibly fast, and the flavor was arguably the best I have ever tasted.

We ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese, the chorizo and egg, and the bean and cheese tacos—each one was absolutely perfect and packed with authentic flavor.

“I would love to gatekeep this place but I feel like the cat is out of the bag. The owner is incredibly humble and the nicest person I have ever met (even while attending a very busy establishment). Long wait times are sometimes/often an occurrence but we're no quitters and it's worth it. Corn in a cup or on the cob are the best! The raspados are also good especially the natural flavors like the home made Tamarindo flavor. Highly recommend, every visit even with the wait times are 10/10.“

“This is my favorite place to eat in Ft Worth! The food is amazing and the hot sauce is on point! The sweet tea is the best. Usually, I can only find 2 out of 3 in a restaurant but here, they have all bases covered!! I try to come every Friday afternoon if I can. If I could, I would eat there daily. I always get the skillet cheese enchiladas with beef (which is so tender and the best I've ever had) I have them grill my onions a little longer and no peppers. Then, for dessert, the chocolate tres letches is the best dessert I've ever had that's Mexican food. As far as Mexican food dining goes this should be the best in the city. The staff is always nice and accommodating. The waitstaff is wonderful, They deserve big tips!! They do a lot of work for you. They really go above and beyond and the team seems to all work well together. When you see that type of synchronicity you know they love what they do.“

“A few weeks ago on March 9th, we visited Maria's Mexican Kitchen in Fort Worth and experienced the BEST service we’ve ever received at a restaurant! The food and drinks and atmosphere were all amazing as well! Every staff member we encountered were genuinely kind and respectful and they all strived to do their jobs well! Our waiter, Scott, was the most personable and kind person! He’s the kind of person that you have a short encounter with, but that encounter has a long lasting impact on your life. This will for sure be a spot we come back to each time we visit Fort Worth and will always ask to sit at one of Scott’s tables!
