“Great food and a good value. My go-to is the chorizo/egg/potato/cheese/bean breakfast burrito for $7. It’s massive and delicious. Personally, I split this into two meals so I can adequately function at work. ?

Dietary restrictions: Gas station grub probably isn’t the healthiest but it sure is tasty! You can always elect to go meatless with a classic potato & egg burrito.

Parking: It’s in a gas station so please don’t block a gas pump.“

“This is a little taqueria that serves well priced food for the portions. I’ve had The tacos and pork tamales which both tasted great. I like the red salsa because of its flavor but is what I would consider mild/medium in heat. I liked the tamales enough that when my mom came in town that I brought her here for tamales.“

This place lives up to its name completely! El Compadre Tacos e Mas truly made me feel like a close friend from the moment I walked in. The hospitality here is incredible, and the entire team treats you like an old friend. On top of the amazing service, the store was very clean and well-maintained. The food came out incredibly fast, and the flavor was arguably the best I have ever tasted.

We ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese, the chorizo and egg, and the bean and cheese tacos—each one was absolutely perfect and packed with authentic flavor.

“We absolutely love having this little truck just to three minutes from our house. They are open late and always hit the spot. Very good food. Get a steak quesadilla or chicken. It's always hooked up. We are never disappointed on our portion size for how much we pay. It's cheap/well priced we always tip the ladies heavy. They deserve it. “This is my favorite place to eat in Ft Worth! The food is amazing and the hot sauce is on point! The sweet tea is the best. Usually, I can only find 2 out of 3 in a restaurant but here, they have all bases covered!! I try to come every Friday afternoon if I can. If I could, I would eat there daily. I always get the skillet cheese enchiladas with beef (which is so tender and the best I've ever had) I have them grill my onions a little longer and no peppers. Then, for dessert, the chocolate tres letches is the best dessert I've ever had that's Mexican food. As far as Mexican food dining goes this should be the best in the city. The staff is always nice and accommodating. The waitstaff is wonderful, They deserve big tips!! They do a lot of work for you. They really go above and beyond and the team seems to all work well together. When you see that type of synchronicity you know they love what they do.“

After much research and difficult pricing decision to make I took a deeper dive into the website for the Mexican Inn Café. What I found was lots of happy folks with both food and the restaurant. Next step was asking around for personal experience and found again lots of happy folks. Last step was a personal visit to check out the food. Well, that was a pleasant surprise for a restaurant that has been there for 60 + years – great food – great service and impressive service personal. Making the arrangements for the catering service was easy and working with Annette Rosas far exceeded my expectations. On the day of the birthday party the food arrived on time and their set-up service was excellent. OH, those yummy food smells. Everything looked delicious, was well prepared and the display was a treat to the eye. In addition - all was an enormous success from the party goers’ praises … except for there being little left over for me to enjoy the next day>LOL. I would like to recommend the Mexican Inn Café 8th Street in Fort Worth and Annette Rosas to anyone in need of catering services or an excellent place to eat. “A few weeks ago on March 9th, we visited Maria's Mexican Kitchen in Fort Worth and experienced the BEST service we’ve ever received at a restaurant! The food and drinks and atmosphere were all amazing as well! Every staff member we encountered were genuinely kind and respectful and they all strived to do their jobs well! Our waiter, Scott, was the most personable and kind person! He’s the kind of person that you have a short encounter with, but that encounter has a long lasting impact on your life. “I would love to gatekeep this place but I feel like the cat is out of the bag. The owner is incredibly humble and the nicest person I have ever met (even while attending a very busy establishment). Long wait times are sometimes/often an occurrence but we're no quitters and it's worth it. Corn in a cup or on the cob are the best! The raspados are also good especially the natural flavors like the home made Tamarindo flavor. Highly recommend, every visit even with the wait times are 10/10.“

“We went last night for my friends Birthday dinner. The best thing about this place is the atmosphere and decor. It’s a gorgeous place.

We had 9:00 pm reservations and got city closer to 9:30 pm. We enjoyed the complimentary Birthday shot. We ordered the Ribeye Chichcurron it was Ok. I ha the NY strip not good lacked seasoning. My friend got the fillet same no flavor. But my other two friends ordered the beef short ribs…That was AMAZING!!!

Overall I would return and definitely order the short rib.“

We ordered the queso blanco as an appetizer, and it was really delicious and creamy. We also had the chicken fajitas with extra peppers, and they were absolutely delicious—everything was well prepared and full of flavor.
