“Shrimp is delicious and you get a big helping of rice a little side salad. The sampler is nice so you can taste a few flavors and decide what you prefer. The shrimp is delicious and comes out quick. Staff is all young kids who are kind and helpful. Spot is cute and has plenty do sitting. They have sinks easily accessible to wash your hands after handling the shrimp which I appreciate :)“

“We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday and it was absolutely lovely. The vibe is amazing-chill and laid back. We sat on the patio. There’s a covered walk-up bar as well as plentiful indoor seating. The food was delicious!! We ordered specialty tacos, black beans, a jalapeño margarita, pina colada, and were treated to samples of their pina colada and pork belly taco. Their chips & salsa were incredible and all of the food was fresh and made with TLC. We were treated like loyal customers and would definitely recommend this restaurant!!! Be prepared to experience great customer service and eat some delicious food. If you’re a taco head-this is your spot!!!The restrooms/establishment were also very clean. They honor military veterans which is extremely important to us. 2 hour complimentary parking is also offered for their guests which is a plus while visiting the Stockyards.Parking: Probably about 20-30 spots“

“I was on my way to the sandwich shop next door to this place when a man stopped me and implored me to try the place next door because he said the food was amazing and they even do food prep for him. I had been thinking I'd try it and felt like the universe was giving me the go ahead. I had the special, which was a chicken al pastor empanada and the al pastor rice bowl. Both were fresh, well seasoned and yummy. I have been back since and find it to be affordable, truly good food. In a landscape in Ft Worth where a lot can be mediocre, this is a little gem.“

We had asada torta and it was good, beans and rice were good I wouldn't say the best I've had but they were good. My son had the asada burrito and he enjoyed it. I had pretty low expectations as I'm not a huge Tex Mex fan (please don't come for me) but really was pleasantly surprised by the food here. You order at the counter and they give you a number for your table, self service style. Of note, we had some trouble talking to the staff as we didn't know Spanish and their English wasn't very clear. Regardless, the food was excellent! We got a breakfast burrito and flour tacos - the oxaca cheese combined with all the other meats, beans, etc was so flavorful. Another big plus was the selection of fresh salsas - there were 4 when we were there. There is plenty of seating inside (including booths) and some outdoor seating as well. There were high chairs and booster seats available too. Would highly recommend for some good food within a few minutes walking distance to Sundance square!“

“This is one of the best food trucks I have been too in a while. Everything I have tried so far has been straight ?. The birria combo is awesome. Their rice and beans as well as the taco plate are really good. The torta is a huge serving and a good value in my opinion…Pretty much feels up a normal to go box. Trying the quesadilla and chile relleno burrito with birria meat today. Deserts have all been amazing and homemade. I hesitate posting this because it’s a hidden gem. But, this family owned business deserves to be known. I’m not going to dock them a star on atmosphere… it’s a food truck and currently they have space for one table. “This is our go to spot for authentic Mexican tacos. So those reviews about them not being authentic they probably haven’t been to the real “rancho” side of Mexico. The sauce is amazing and the qualities of meats is the best. I am one to eat the weird meant that nobody likes; (tripas, lengua) and they are bomb every-time. Everything is I don’t think I’ve been disappointed by anything on their menu. For me the sad thing will be when the sauce isn’t as hot as I like it but can’t blame it on them(you damn Chiles) The next thing I suggest they do is at menudo or posole on the menu too! “Being from outta state, my husband and I have found it hard to find Authentic Mexican food that we actually like. So far, the few places we've tried are more Tex-Mex. So when we found Tacos Perez & had their food, we LOVED IT!My husband usually gets the Trompo tacos, we've also tried their Asada & Carnitas tacos & they were all delicious. Their Chorizo breakfast burritos are very good as well. I've tried their Menudo, and it was ok, I personally do not like homeny in my Menudo (as I grew up only having with the tripe) but to each their own.The younger guy who is the cashier is pretty friendly, patient & always seems to be in a good mood. I had the Kook taco on flour tortilla and the Smoked Out Brisket taco on corn tortilla, both were so flavorful and amazing!! “Solid taco truck. My husband has been going since they opened and loves this place. I really like the chicken taco plate but everything I’ve tried has been delicious. I have noticed business has picked up over the last couple months so our wait time has gone up a bit but hopefully this means expansion in the future!“
