“I do recommend JJ's the food is tasty but....I walked in on a friday after work around 3:30..I always sit at the bar I was shocked to see the whole bar area was dirty and the floor was sticky! I'm a regular at this location on Tarrant Parkway and have always enjoyed the food and the margaritas....I almost turned around and walked out so disappointed! oh, one other thing, when I order food I always have to ask for silverware! I myself have worked in the food industry years ago, I do know the dirty dishes should be picked up when customers are done eating, this helps to keep the area clean even if you are busy which in this case the bar wouldn't be full of dirty dishes and I'm not exaggerating...it was the whole bar area!“

“With so many taco shops in the metroplex, I rarely give a random taciera a chance. I have my go-to spot and don't try different spots. However, Hacienda was a good spot to stop and grab a couple of tacos. I ordered 3, the food was well seasoned, and it was not over spicy like some spots I've tried. I will come back for sure. It's was fresh, and the sauce on the side was very flavorful and didn't just taste like cilantro and onions.“

“We have been eating at la Isla for 30 years. Mainly the Park Row and Cooper location and when they moved to Pantene we followed them there. We have sampled the menu widely but I am centered on the tostada de Ceviche for a start. Then the sour cream chicken enchilada plate. We love the rice and beans and I love to put some of the delicious salsa on them. My wife usually gets either the fajitas or the tacos Al carbon. The chips and salsa are great too. Moderately priced as well. Give them a try.“

“These tacos are incredibly authentic and delicious, the suadero meat literally melts in your mouth, and the corn tortillas are as genuine as it gets. While they aren't my absolute number one spot, they are definitely near the top of my list. My only real gripe is the price. I definitely miss the days of the one-dollar taco!“

So far everything I’ve tried here is good.
My fav thus far is the Bacon egg and cheese tacos, with papas added.
Still need to try the burritos.
I prefer the red salsa here, but the green is good too, and I always ask for both.
They’re also not afraid to randomly hook it up in some way or another, for new customers especially.“

“Ordered tacos. Tripa, barbacoa, and asada. Delicious, didn't skimp on the portion. Also got menudo. Most places has a layer of grease on top, not this place. And it wasn't watered down all pale red like some other places I've been to. My corn tortillas were homemade. Jamaica was legit so was the Horchata.“

I am very picky when it comes to Tortas. Usually I’m disappointed but Comal Street Tacos sold me with their Torta. Fresh, simple, balanced and flavorful. This is the place I will definitely come to when I don’t feel like making Tortas.

“I have eaten and shared my love of BBQ for years traveling the United States in my job, and living for a time in South Texas enjoying the outstanding Tex Mex cuisine of mesquite wood burning smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey, etc. JR's is a wonderful experience if you are looking for outstanding BBQ, family outing, very professional, friendly staff, with a wide selection of menu options that are simply delicious! I have tried the brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, mac and cheese, other side dishes, and soups. I have never been disappointed. JR is one of the friendliest, generous, and community- oriented individuals you would ever meet. I have had the opportunity to see his operation from the fire pits in the back, kitchen, and have always been highly impressed with the cleanliness of his facility. That speaks volumes to the importance of not just quality taste, flavor blending of smoke wood meats, but to the importance of food safety. I would highly recommend stopping by and trying the food for yourself as the flavor of mesquite smoked meat is tantalizing to the taste buds, the atmosphere is very friendly/inviting, and the service the best! Suffice it to say that JR and his staff go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is memorable, and enjoyable!
