“This location is a taco truck, and they are clean inside, but they sit outside of a Valero station, which is not the best atmosphere. Yet the food was good and reasonable. You can even call in your orders. Referred by a friend. It did live up to their experience.“

“I do recommend JJ's the food is tasty but....I walked in on a friday after work around 3:30..I always sit at the bar I was shocked to see the whole bar area was dirty and the floor was sticky! I'm a regular at this location on Tarrant Parkway and have always enjoyed the food and the margaritas....I almost turned around and walked out so disappointed! oh, one other thing, when I order food I always have to ask for silverware! I myself have worked in the food industry years ago, I do know the dirty dishes should be picked up when customers are done eating, this helps to keep the area clean even if you are busy which in this case the bar wouldn't be full of dirty dishes and I'm not exaggerating...it was the whole bar area!“

I prefer the red salsa here, but the green is good too, and I always ask for both.

“Ordered tacos. Tripa, barbacoa, and asada. Delicious, didn't skimp on the portion. Also got menudo. Most places has a layer of grease on top, not this place. And it wasn't watered down all pale red like some other places I've been to. My corn tortillas were homemade. Jamaica was legit so was the Horchata.“

All waitresses are soo friendly! Great food tacos and chips n hot sauce 10/10 don’t forget the beans ! They also have menudo!“

“We have been eating at la Isla for 30 years. Mainly the Park Row and Cooper location and when they moved to Pantene we followed them there. We have sampled the menu widely but I am centered on the tostada de Ceviche for a start. Then the sour cream chicken enchilada plate. We love the rice and beans and I love to put some of the delicious salsa on them. My wife usually gets either the fajitas or the tacos Al carbon. The chips and salsa are great too. Moderately priced as well. Give them a try.“

I am very picky when it comes to Tortas. Usually I’m disappointed but Comal Street Tacos sold me with their Torta. Fresh, simple, balanced and flavorful. This is the place I will definitely come to when I don’t feel like making Tortas.

“I have eaten and shared my love of BBQ for years traveling the United States in my job, and living for a time in South Texas enjoying the outstanding Tex Mex cuisine of mesquite wood burning smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey, etc. JR's is a wonderful experience if you are looking for outstanding BBQ, family outing, very professional, friendly staff, with a wide selection of menu options that are simply delicious! I have tried the brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, mac and cheese, other side dishes, and soups. I have never been disappointed. JR is one of the friendliest, generous, and community- oriented individuals you would ever meet. I have had the opportunity to see his operation from the fire pits in the back, kitchen, and have always been highly impressed with the cleanliness of his facility. That speaks volumes to the importance of not just quality taste, flavor blending of smoke wood meats, but to the importance of food safety. I would highly recommend stopping by and trying the food for yourself as the flavor of mesquite smoked meat is tantalizing to the taste buds, the atmosphere is very friendly/inviting, and the service the best! Suffice it to say that JR and his staff go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is memorable, and enjoyable! “Fajita steak shish ka bobs!!! Do I need to say more? The location I went only had 5 cars in the parking lot when I showed up. On a SATURDAY night.... had me slightly suspect... but I checked the reviews and it had 4 stars so I had to try it. I wanted something I hadn't had at other Mexican restaurants in my state, so I tried the Steak Shish ka bobs. Whew!!! They were REALLY REALLY good!!! Such a nice variation from the typical. Server was nice and friendly which just made everything better.“
