“We tried Comal Street Tacos for the first time today. Everything was made to order and FRESH. Location was very clean and the owners are super friendly.

The Al Pastro and Asada tacos were on point. So Good!!

I am very picky when it comes to Tortas. Usually I’m disappointed but Comal Street Tacos sold me with their Torta. Fresh, simple, balanced and flavorful. This is the place I will definitely come to when I don’t feel like making Tortas.

“They have different sauce selections. I loved the Chipotle sauce which is not spicy. Food was delicious but 2 of our meals had the wrong meat. Cashier did read back the order and it was taken correctly. The taco price seemed a little high for me I think it was $4 and some change for each taco. Burritos and other meals range from $11- $16. They had churros which I wish I would have tried. Those were 1-$3.50 6-$19 and 12 for $36. Seemed a little high for me. But I also don't know how big they were to see if they justified for the cost. Overall I will be going back for their Birria Pizza.“

“I do recommend JJ's the food is tasty but....I walked in on a friday after work around 3:30..I always sit at the bar I was shocked to see the whole bar area was dirty and the floor was sticky! I'm a regular at this location on Tarrant Parkway and have always enjoyed the food and the margaritas....I almost turned around and walked out so disappointed! oh, one other thing, when I order food I always have to ask for silverware! I myself have worked in the food industry years ago, I do know the dirty dishes should be picked up when customers are done eating, this helps to keep the area clean even if you are busy which in this case the bar wouldn't be full of dirty dishes and I'm not exaggerating...it was the whole bar area!“

“Stopped in here during a long layover at DFW based on the ratings. Maria the hostess greeted me with enthusiasm and seated me immediately. I took her up on her recommendation, ordering a carnitas burrito minus the lettuce (personal preference, not related to the current health concerns in the news). The burrito came out in about 5 minutes with a healthy serving of tri-color tortilla chips and salsa.

The burrito was definitely better than your avg airport food, with carnitas, rice, black beans, shredded cheese, pico, and a drizzle of crema made from sour cream, buttermilk, and a little cayenne pepper, all packed in a toasty, flour tortilla. Aside from being a bit wet and drippy, everything was great.

My server Christina was super energetic and on top of her game, even bringing me refills of my drink before my current glass was empty. And with three TVs over the bar, it was easy to make the time pass quickly. Last, if you're tired of being packed into an airport restaurants where tables are on top of each other, then give TX/MX a shot.“

“We have been eating at la Isla for 30 years. Mainly the Park Row and Cooper location and when they moved to Pantene we followed them there. We have sampled the menu widely but I am centered on the tostada de Ceviche for a start. Then the sour cream chicken enchilada plate. We love the rice and beans and I love to put some of the delicious salsa on them. My wife usually gets either the fajitas or the tacos Al carbon. The chips and salsa are great too. Moderately priced as well. Give them a try.“

“These tacos are incredibly authentic and delicious, the suadero meat literally melts in your mouth, and the corn tortillas are as genuine as it gets. While they aren't my absolute number one spot, they are definitely near the top of my list. My only real gripe is the price. I definitely miss the days of the one-dollar taco!“

“Ordered tacos. Tripa, barbacoa, and asada. Delicious, didn't skimp on the portion. Also got menudo. Most places has a layer of grease on top, not this place. And it wasn't watered down all pale red like some other places I've been to. My corn tortillas were homemade. Jamaica was legit so was the Horchata.“

“I have eaten and shared my love of BBQ for years traveling the United States in my job, and living for a time in South Texas enjoying the outstanding Tex Mex cuisine of mesquite wood burning smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey, etc. JR's is a wonderful experience if you are looking for outstanding BBQ, family outing, very professional, friendly staff, with a wide selection of menu options that are simply delicious! I have tried the brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, mac and cheese, other side dishes, and soups. I have never been disappointed. JR is one of the friendliest, generous, and community- oriented individuals you would ever meet. I have had the opportunity to see his operation from the fire pits in the back, kitchen, and have always been highly impressed with the cleanliness of his facility. That speaks volumes to the importance of not just quality taste, flavor blending of smoke wood meats, but to the importance of food safety. I would highly recommend stopping by and trying the food for yourself as the flavor of mesquite smoked meat is tantalizing to the taste buds, the atmosphere is very friendly/inviting, and the service the best! Suffice it to say that JR and his staff go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is memorable, and enjoyable! “How many LOVE eating a Quesadilla? How about a big fresh great tasting one with lots of meat too? If you want actual good Mexican food and not that taco bell or other fast food junk, then just go to Taqueria Taco Express. They also have some awesome fresh made fruit drinks that are so delicious. Don't forget their deserts!! Be warned their quesadilla is for 2 people. I did half Chicken (Pollo) and half Pork (Al pastor) and yes I have left overs.“
