“Ordered salmon, mashed potatoes w gravy, broccoli, and cheesecake w strawberries. I seasoned the potatoes with chives, and that made them awesome. Salmon was a little dry, so I added some sweet chili sauce, and that made it awesome. Brocoli was not too soft and not too hard. Perfect. Garlic bread was good. Cheesecake was perfect. Service was awesome
I will be back.“

“This place is really good! They have lots of options and very nice employees! Fresca con crema is very delicious and filling. Took my stepson here after playing at the park, he loved the cotton Candy ice cream. I got samples of couple flavors, one scoop of each of the peach and pistachio almond ice cream! “Go here. If you go anywhere to eat in DFW area, let it be this place. The first true farm to table restaurant that puts its heart and soul into everything they make. We were blown away by every cocktail and dish we had, but the star of the show was the Tea Braised Pig Tails (pictured below). As a farmer and a butcher, I have no idea where they source these magical, massive pig tails, but they are 100% the best tasting thing I've put in my mouth in Dallas since we came. In all my (16 total) years in bars and restaurants, I've never been more impressed by a single bartender. This guy is lacto fermenting, dehydrating, infusing, & manipulating different ingredients in incredible ways that deserve as much credit as the kitchen. Honestly, the combination of a passionate chef and a passionate bartender make this place hands down the best spot in DFW. I wish more places were ethically sourcing ingredients and using more of the animals they serve, as this place has so perfectly achieved. If they were closer, I'd probably be trying to do business with them in some manner.“

“I’m in town for work and have been to Daqs 2 Geaux 4-6 times and each time the service is phenomenal the food and drinks were fantastic so far my favorite has been the jerk wings with the house fries. But the chicken and Philly sliders were amazing whatever the sauce they put on it is good af, the quesadillas were fire as well. Highly recommend stopping in.“

“Hole in the with limited indoor seating and carhops serving outside. Reasonable prices for what they offer. The fries could be a little crispier, but the portion was generous. The burger was above average, but the bun was slightly stale. This was all forgiven when I took a sip of the house made Root Beer. I would stop traffic to take the whole tank home.“

“I don’t know why it took so long for us to try Circle Grill but I’m glad we finally did. A clean classic mid-century diner vibe, it was spotlessly clean, the service was fast and efficient, the food was great, and the prices were reasonable. There was a feeling that many of the patrons were regulars and after our first visit we intend to be in the regular crowd.“

“We got breakfast at The Garland Cafe' this morning and we’re SHOCKED at the portion sizes! First of all; the coffee is awesome! I’m no coffee snob… but I really am 😂😂 and it was good!

Luis Adan Velazquez got a big ol breakfast with grits (I ate his grits) and he loved everything. I got a veggie plate with pancakes (he ate my pancakes) and it was fantastic! I had to add salt, but that was nothing really.

The staff was super nice and checked in us enough, but not too much. They were not all over our shoulders, ya know?!

“a group of three had lunch there yesterday. It took a minute to get our food which was fine, it was crowded and they were short a server. However when the food it came the food on one of the plates was cold. The mashed potatoes were very runny(watery) and full of lumps, nothing like we normally get. Our waitress brought our food and never came back yet she was continually filling drink glasses etc to the two tables behind us. I finally was able to ask for a drink refill when the checks came but by this time it was too late. If this had been my first visit I wouldn’t be going back.“

“My boyfriend and I eat here about once every 3 weeks or so. We are both bartenders, and we get off work at a weird time, like 3:30-4a.m. -ish. While we could always go to one of the two Denny's that is nearer to our work, we would rather drive over to Mesquite. We can always count on this particular Denny's to be open; the servers, Michael or D.J., to be on point and smiling; and the food to be excellent. To the graveyard chef, to Michael and to D.J.- thank you for showing up and showing the other Denny's how it should be done!.“

“The food was amazing, I got the Cheddar's trio sampler. It comes with 4 huge chicken tenders, a whole plate of chips and salsa, spinach dip with sour cream and queso dip. The spinach dip was out of this world great, you've got to try it but please if you go, ask for Sone as your server. She's so pleasant and accommodating. Never had to wait for more drinks or dressing, she's on point. She had some troublesome customers in the back but never complained about it and when she addressed us, you could never tell what she was dealing with. Very professional and she definitely deserves a raise“
