Tonight was my first time eating here & it will now be my go to for mexican food.
The chips & salsa were great, with one of my table mates taking her extra salsa home because it was so delicious.

Rivera's Mexican Restaurant offers great food with great service. The chips and salsa are great, with delicious salsa. Favorite dishes include chile relino, taco plate, tostitos plate, beef or chicken fajitas, and the chimichanga plate with fajita meat flavored to perfection inside a flour tortilla that is deep fried and covered in queso. The catfish plate is also cooked just right with a crunchy outside and a delicate, flaky inside. The food is cooked fresh and with love. The restaurant is clean, the service is fast and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. It can sometimes be noisy, depending on the time. Under new ownership for 4 months, the food has improved with new cooks, becoming consistent above average good food. Riveras food is by far superior to premium Mexican food restaurants. It is the best yet, a solid melt of Mexican and Tex-Mex. This is the go-to for Mexican food, and several friends have never gotten a bad meal here.
