We arrived at 4:30 and soon realized that we should have arrived sooner. It was such a relaxing experience with the most delicious tasting wines I’ve ever had! Aida was such a great host! We will be returning with books and snacks in tow for a full day adventure next time!”

We didn't receive part of our order and instead of calling DoorDash and asking for a refund, after trying the food we did receive, we decided we wanted our complete order because EVERYTHING was so good. we asked for them to just bring us our fries that we were missing and instead the manager said if you come get it we well just replace everything and I am one happy customer to get to eat them AMAZING food tomorrow! Its a little on the higher end for our eating out budget but it is WORTH EVERY PENNY!”

“This is a shout out to AJ at the corporate office for taking care of me today. Our family has been eating at El Toro for many years. We love their food and service. Today I called about some confusion on points earned with their new rewards system. I just knew I was owed more points. I had a call back from AJ at the corporate office on a Saturday when he wasn't at work just to help me out. Turns out I misunderstood the points due to having earned a reward and the system not showing all the transactions. Not only was he extremely patient and kind and figured out what was going on, he still gave me extra points for my trouble. That is excellent customer service.”

My highlight was our server or waitress Wendy. She’s absolutely incredible and pleasant when it comes to the customer service component of restaurants. She was very tentative, she graciously shared additional premium items on the menu that increase money to the restaurant, but she did it so seamlessly and I was very impressed. Job well done!”

“If you haven’t tried JLB Eatery Baytown you definitely should. Today was our second time to eat there , this time I tried the fish and chips Cajun style. It was nice and crispy with a cornmeal batter which is my favorite and it came with fries and onion rings, a slice of fresh bread toasted and a hush puppy. The husband got the pattymelt. Of course I had to have a tast test. Oh my goodness, I have to say that is one of the best pattymelts I have ever had. The bread freshly made and toasted , the fried egg (which was a nice surprise) the burger patty was cooked just right , bacon (can’t go wrong there) and the grilled onions …this was delicious! This visit the owner brought us a sample of the fried Oreos. Loved it and now I want to try their barvian cream churros. On our first visit we each got a cheeseburger combo and learned we could have shared a combo. I brought over half of mine home and ate the rest for dinner. The burgers are delicious. We will definitely be back .”

We received a genuine aloha and some great conversation with the owners before the dinner rush. If you have an appetite the portions are insane and the flavors are endless! I had the "Chef's Mercy"(Chef's choice) and was 111% satisfied!Try the shrimp empanadas too!This just became one of our have to stop by every year we come down spots. We didn't get a bowl for ketchup, asked for extra napkins and never received those. My husband didn't get his bacon for his baked potato, but the time the waitress remembered he was almost done with his meal. When I mentioned my raspberry sweet tea was too sweet, and I'd like an unsweetened tea with lemon, that never came. I kept receiving unsweetened raspberry tea. However I had asked twice and wasn't going to ask a third time. We had quite a few wait times in between asking for things. I also got a to-go order which didn't take long. We may return to this location but I'm sure at this time.”

“I had never been to a schlotzsky's in my life. As a truck driver, I wanted something different from the regular food options available. I ordered a large chicken sandwich, I figured it would last me 2 days. Not too bad a price for a 2 day meal. I eat like a bird, so it may even last 4. since the holiday was a week away, I'm already over ham.

There was a wonderfully friendly and informative young woman working at the counter, I asked for her recommendation. When I told her what I don't eat, she suggested the chicken sandwich. I made it my own way, given the fact that I'm a very picky bird. It was phenomenal! The only thing I thought might be an issue would have been the bread as I don't like corn bread. But it turns out even that was no problem.

I will definitely return to a schlotzsky's somewhere, even if I never make it back out to this one again.”

Torta was huge with plenty of meat!!! The barbacoa is really good but not what I'm use to. It came in chunks and very tender and juicy, not shredded and the seasoning is different. The tortillas are handmade right in front of you. I got the miez, good but a little soft to my liking. Im definitely going back and want to try the mole. Even my picky eater approved and is starting to try new foods. I totally recommend to go give them a try”

“I had the sweet and sour shrimp and veggie lo mein. By far and wide the best lo mein I have had in a while. Idyllic balance of noodles and veggies in my opinion. The S&S shrimp was a little overcooked, but the flavor was nice. We also indulged in a couple of the Boba infused smoothies. The boba was a little chewy for my liking (I have only previously had the types that burst and have liquid inside), it was like chewing a gummy bear. The smoothies were good, but I may have to hold the Boba next time. Overall, our little family impromptu picnic lunch was fun and filling.”
