“I absolutely loved the décor (can you please decorate my house? 😂😂😂). The food was chef’s kiss — everything was amazing. The spinach dip was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of cheesiness and spinach, and the steak tasted like someone’s Grandpa made it — in the best way possible. It just melted in your mouth. Even though I don’t live in Baytown, I’ll definitely be coming back every time I visit and recommending this place to everyone I know. The setup was great, and the band was playing nothing but bangers from my time. The hosts were extremely professional — my husband and I were seated in under 15 minutes, which was impressive. One of my favorite things about this spot is the family-friendly atmosphere. You don’t see people buried in their phones; instead, everyone’s chatting and helping each other. And if you go, ask for Papi! He gives the best food suggestions, was super professional, and honestly made me feel like family. I have nothing bad to say about this place. ❤️”

“My husband and I decided to visit after I searched online for a Hispanic owned vineyard. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this was only a 45 minute drive for us. We arrived at 4:30 and soon realized that we should have arrived sooner. It was such a relaxing experience with the most delicious tasting wines I’ve ever had! Aida was such a great host! We will be returning with books and snacks in tow for a full day adventure next time!”

We didn't receive part of our order and instead of calling DoorDash and asking for a refund, after trying the food we did receive, we decided we wanted our complete order because EVERYTHING was so good. we asked for them to just bring us our fries that we were missing and instead the manager said if you come get it we well just replace everything and I am one happy customer to get to eat them AMAZING food tomorrow! Its a little on the higher end for our eating out budget but it is WORTH EVERY PENNY!”

“If you haven’t tried JLB Eatery Baytown you definitely should. Today was our second time to eat there , this time I tried the fish and chips Cajun style. It was nice and crispy with a cornmeal batter which is my favorite and it came with fries and onion rings, a slice of fresh bread toasted and a hush puppy. The husband got the pattymelt. Of course I had to have a tast test. Oh my goodness, I have to say that is one of the best pattymelts I have ever had. The bread freshly made and toasted , the fried egg (which was a nice surprise) the burger patty was cooked just right , bacon (can’t go wrong there) and the grilled onions …this was delicious! This visit the owner brought us a sample of the fried Oreos. Loved it and now I want to try their barvian cream churros. On our first visit we each got a cheeseburger combo and learned we could have shared a combo. I brought over half of mine home and ate the rest for dinner. The burgers are delicious. We will definitely be back .”

I ordered the T Bone steak with 2 sides. I'm diabetic, so my options were limited. I got broccoli and a side of eggs, because they are pretty much zero carbs. I substituted my dinner bread for a hamburger patty (unfortunately at an added charge). I asked for the steak as rare as they were allowed to serve it. It was delicious.

The lady who served me was very fast and friendly. The lobby was clean and I got my food quickly and at a reasonable price (though I'd have been willing to pay more for larger servings). Overall, I'd recommend this location and I will be back when I'm in the area again.”

I know that can be a pain and it's difficult to take people at their word but he did and cleaned the grill off before starting our food. Torta was huge with plenty of meat!!! The barbacoa is really good but not what I'm use to. It came in chunks and very tender and juicy, not shredded and the seasoning is different. The tortillas are handmade right in front of you. I got the miez, good but a little soft to my liking. Im definitely going back and want to try the mole. Even my picky eater approved and is starting to try new foods. I totally recommend to go give them a try”

“This is a shout out to AJ at the corporate office for taking care of me today. Our family has been eating at El Toro for many years. We love their food and service. Today I called about some confusion on points earned with their new rewards system. I just knew I was owed more points. I had a call back from AJ at the corporate office on a Saturday when he wasn't at work just to help me out. Turns out I misunderstood the points due to having earned a reward and the system not showing all the transactions. Not only was he extremely patient and kind and figured out what was going on, he still gave me extra points for my trouble. That is excellent customer service.”

“I ordered online for pick up. The pick up time was 10 minutes after I placed the order. I arrived at the designated time, but had to wait an additional 20 minutes before my order was ready. They were apologetic about the wait times and in their defense it was pretty busy at the time that I ordered/arrived. However I don't really see what could take so long about scooping ready-made items into a to-go container and handing me a cup to fill myself, so overall only a 4 star experience for me. I'll give them another shot outside of peak hours and next time I want a to-go order I'll probably try the drive thru, as it seemed that was moving quicker.”

Got here and my pizza wasn’t out of the oven yet but the manager noticed something was wrong and asked if I was okay! When I told him, he told me to take a cake and go sit down. I tried to pay for it and he wouldn’t let me. And as usual, the food is the bomb! My pizza wasn’t perfect!”

If I had to be picky and have a complaint the only thing I could say was that one end of the burrito wasn't folded over 🤷🏽‍♂️.... But other than that it was a great experience.
