“Alex and his family make excellent Queso Birria Tacos. It's a small place but Alex himself helped my wife with her allergen issues. I know that can be a pain and it's difficult to take people at their word but he did and cleaned the grill off before starting our food. This was a lot to ask and I never enjoy asking places so we rarely eat out. He didn't begrudge the request a bit and wanted to understand how best to help.“

They're in old Baytown, I'm in Highlands, so n9t exactly close but my food was actually still hot when I got home. . I give it 5 stars all the way around. And reasonably priced. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted like family — it’s clear this is a true mom-and-pop spot where everything is made with love. The food is absolutely incredible — full of authentic Mexican flavor and freshly prepared.

On the outside, it maybe cosidered a typical hole-in-wall asthetically, but every dish tastes like it came straight from someone’s home kitchen. Their guarabowls are perfectly seasoned, the rice and beans are flavorful, and the homemade salsas bring just the right kick. Their burritos, (especially the grande version) is single-handedly one of the biggest you can get & I personally promise it will fill you up unless you're just simply a glutton for punishment! You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in every plate they serve. In addition, the fajita beef, chicken & sausage portions are extremely generous & you'll most definetly get your money's worth.

Beyond the food, the service is warm and genuine. In conclusion, this is my personal go to spot if you’re looking for real Mexican food in Baytown — not the chain-restaurant kind, but the real deal — Guarapollo is the place to go. A must-try for anyone who loves great food and even better people!“

“Immediately greeted. Place is clean, small but plenty of tables and busy. Friendly staff great atmosphere. I ordered 2 lbs of barbacoa and a fajita torta. Delicious!!! Torta was huge with plenty of meat!!! The barbacoa is really good but not what I'm use to. It came in chunks and very tender and juicy, not shredded and the seasoning is different. The tortillas are handmade right in front of you. I got the miez, good but a little soft to my liking. Im definitely going back and want to try the mole. Even my picky eater approved and is starting to try new foods. I totally recommend to go give them a try“

“This is a shout out to AJ at the corporate office for taking care of me today. Our family has been eating at El Toro for many years. We love their food and service. Today I called about some confusion on points earned with their new rewards system. I just knew I was owed more points. I had a call back from AJ at the corporate office on a Saturday when he wasn't at work just to help me out. Turns out I misunderstood the points due to having earned a reward and the system not showing all the transactions. Not only was he extremely patient and kind and figured out what was going on, he still gave me extra points for my trouble. That is excellent customer service.“

“I was looking for a Latino snow cone spot after leaving the beach, I got a few raspas naturales (tamarindo+piña, mango, coco) and aguas frescas (mango, melón, sandía) and EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! Seriously the best snow cones I’ve ever had! I have to say the coconut raspa was my favorite! If you’re in the area you have to stop by for some excellent service and great conversation aswell!
