“I really liked it because it is a very clean place, the employees are very friendly and the food is really delicious. The super pupusa is a huge thing, like a personal pizza, and the cheese is the closest thing to the Salvadoran cheese that is a flavor so difficult to find in Houston pupuserias.“

“Cash or Zelle only. First time trying a food truck that specializes on pupusa. Delicious giant pupusa. It’s Crazy how Spring Branch is the only place in Houston where you see 4 pupusa truck in a 2 mile radius while there is only around 18 El Salvadoran food truck in the city (my research).“

“I believe cash only. I got 5 pupusas, cheese, Loroco, calabaza, fajita and chicharon. For $14. I tried the pupuseria side not the taqueria. Parking was iffy cause it’s in a gas station where a lot of people go to market store. I’m not a pupusas enthusiast or not big enough knowledge but them pupusas were small or ok. U got 4 pupusas truck in the area but u know give it a try.“
“Miguelito’s Restaurante on Beechnut St. is absolutely one of the best kept secrets in Houston, and I’m so glad I finally gave it a try. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this is a place that takes food seriously.
The quality of the food here is outstanding. Every dish is crafted with care using fresh ingredients and traditional recipes that stay true to authentic Central American flavors. I had the pupusas and they were perfectly made, not greasy, packed with flavor, and clearly made with love. The portions are generous and the taste is just incredible.
What really sets Miguelito’s apart is that unmistakable homemade quality. The food doesn’t taste like it came out of a commercial kitchen, it tastes like someone’s abuela spent all day cooking it just for you.“

“This is just a place for real Mexican food, the kind of place that Anthony Bordain would love to visit. Noisy most of the times and small. Go just for the food, authentic Barbacoa (Borrego) Cabrito, just to mention hard ones to get in other place.“

“The four of us decided to have lunch at the Buffet de Pupusas. The food was delicious and plentiful! La sopa de pollo set the stage, followed by varieties of pupusas of different flavors. El agua fresca was just perfect on a hot Houston Sunday. The service was very nice, and especially helpful to some of us who were here first time. Besides the food, the place offers a lot of merchandize from El Salvador and Honduras (so you don't have to travel far to get your favorite soccer jersey or a hat). Definitely recommend to a friend, and will come here again.“
“They have new owners ! The food is great, the mariscada is delicious, and the pupusas and the Horchata *chefs kisses* they have a huge wall with monitors to watch the games, its a vibe ! They just opened so im sure it'll only get better.“

“I enjoyed this restaurant very much. The pupusas were bigger than I expected and were sooo delicious and filling. I’ve visited El Salvador once and everything here tasted authentic. The owners are Salvadoran themselves, so that’s how you know you’re in the right place. My favorite pupusa was the bean and cheese, but you can’t go wrong with anything there. Super friendly service. Will definitely return!!“
“Buenas pupusas. Y rápidas. Para atender. Y aguas frescas. Muy. Buenas. Sabores de fruta natural buena“
“With our local guide, we decided to stop at this small, unassuming road-side soda on our drive from Guayabo National Monument to Irazu volcano. We are so glad we did - this might have been our favorite meal during our two weeks in Costa Rica. Not sure if there was even a menu; our guide helped us order - casado for all. If you have not had casado, translated as "marriage," it is a typical Costa Rican meal that offers a complete plate. This one started with small bowl of delicious soup and ended with a small bowl of fresh fruit. The plate itself had beans, rice, fried plantains, fried local Turrialba cheese, hearts of palm, and a protein of choice. The stewed beef was incredibly tender and tasty. As with many typico meals, it included fresh fruit juice and the pineapple/guava flavor was delicious. And it was incredibly inexpensive.“

“Excellent food and service. The flavor of the food is authentic. The place is very clean. They serve really good plantain chips, instead of the ordinary corn tortilla chips you get everywhere else. Excelente comida y servicio. El lugar es muy limpio. Se los recomiendo.“

“Typical Salvadoran restaurant, nothing out of the ordinary, samemo dishes.
The only difference in here is the Pupusas, they are Huge. Just because of that. Just one Pupusas will fill you up.
There's prices are affordable.!
I know its that one of two of the waitress or attendance, they're speaking too load personal things, That No one wants to hear themselves.
That is not professional.“

“The food is better than in other Salvadoran restaurants. The owners are very attentive and friendly. I think the place needs a spruce up or painting but it's not easy to invest so much when you're starting the business. I think little by little. It is important to put El Salvador in the spotlight and be able to offer the best service possible and hire people who can truly cook because our well-made food is super delicious.
Update: they moved to a better location. It's much better. It is cleaner and looks very good. The food is delicious and very good customer service.“

“Yes, it’s a yummy restaurant, but if you’re looking for a small events space, look no further. I have hosted 2 graduation parties here and it has been the perfect venue for 50 people or less. Ana worked with me to come up with a delicious menu, once as a buffet option where guests served themselves, and the latest was as sit down table service. There’s enough space for a flower wall or 360 Photo Booth. Ana is very accommodating and will work to make your event extra special!! Highly recommend!“

“Counter service food ready to-go. Get your Salvadoran and Guatamalen tamales here; ready to go and steaming hot. Baked goods available. Good pricing on hot food with rice and homemade tamales. Ask if they have salad for a side dish ; sometimes they do. Don't complain when the food here is READY to be SERVED asap inside or to-go. If you're in a rush or don't like waiting for food, this is your new go-to spot! The fried fish , various meat stews and dishes, and chiles rellenos are WONDERFUL. It's a no frills restaurant and you'll eat on tables with cute blue and white checkered countertops.Be appreciative of this little gem of a sit-down restaurant and they take CC and debit card in a sea of food trucks in this area that don't !“

“Súper recomendado todo esta delicioso 😋“
“We have personally been to this location for breakfast and really enjoyed their breakfast. My only concern is their prices for Door Dash. Their arroz pupusas are typically around $2.79 in store, and they shoot up to six dollars for one pupusa when ordering from Door Dash. Again wonderful meals, but it really is discouraging their potential business when their delivery prices are that high, and similar Salvadoran restaurants price their pupusas around $3.50 on DoorDash like Pupusa Loca.“

“They have a huge hot food counter-style "pick what you want" deli. It IS expensive for the entrees . But I got to try fried foods I haven't seen elsewhere. For example, they have fish relleno (like Chile relleno but with salted fish instead ), yuca fritter, frijoles pastellito , and torta elote (sweet corn pancake that looks like a potato pancake - VERY good ?). Their sausage spaghetti ? is delicious too ! I thought the Chile relleno was going to be BOTH bell pepper and fish but it was solo fish ? so I was disappointed in that. But everything else was good!“
