“Food was okay; however, we decided that we would not return before the food hit our tastebuds. They are overpriced for a diner, they offer absolutely no substitutions and when my mom asked for real butter for her pancakes, she was charged a dollar. Like be consistent, if you want to charge five star prices, at least clean your table setups, jazz up your menu, and offer better quality products to your consumers. My mother and I spent 50 dollars between the two of us on a simple, subpar breakfast 50c extra for wheat toast rather than white toast, really? While the service was friendly and the bathrooms were spiffy, we will not return nor recommend this place to anyone.“

“I went for brunch and the menu is limited but there is a great variety of food to choose from.
My waitress was very attentive and friendly and the view of Belton Lake is always relaxing. I was seated at a table close to the burning fireplace, which added an even nicer touch to my visit.
Vegetarian options: Salads were available on the brunch menu.
Dietary restrictions: There were non dairy and gluten free items available on the menu. Also the option of grilled seafood was available.
Parking: The parking lot has ample parking for handicap and motorcycles.
Kid-friendliness: Atmosphere is kid friendly with a kids menu.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entry and indoors are very wheelchair accessible.“

“We had a nice dinner here yesterday! We were a group of four people. The decor is interesting. I love historic and old architecture so the Barton House is fascinating to me. The food was delicious. The drinks were good too. The wine was a fine choice. Our waitress was friendly and nice. Dessert was scrumptious. I want to thank the wonderful lady with the son riding out the hurricane in Florida for dessert. I’m so sorry we didn’t get your name. We will definitely come back again! Thank you for an enjoyable experience!“

“Crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes make a refreshing start. A flavorful dressing ties all the ingredients together perfectly. A sprinkle of something crunchy adds a satisfying texture. It's a quick and easy meal that leaves you feeling energized. This is the perfect way to enjoy a healthy and delicious lunch.“

“Ordered the Chicken Pho tonight as carry out. It was packaged separately so everything was still fresh and hot when it was ready to eat. It had really good flavor and totally hit the spot when I was craving soup being under the weather. Ordered extra broth and I have enough for 2 meals. Would definitely recommend!“

“The food is amazing. I have had almost the entire menu and enjoyed everything. They allow you to choose your spice level from mild to thai spicy (Do not get thai spicy unless you can handle it - it is BEYOND spicy.) My favorite dishes are the Pad Thai and the Tum Ga Kai soup, the latter is a great choice if your running a fever.“

“Ok, this is going to be a long one.
It's been YEARS since I gave Olive Garden a chance. The ones in California were a complete letdown and it's been almost a decade since, so I was skeptical moving back.
First: the first time we came to this location it was as a guest and the items we chose were the Stuffed Chicken Marsala and the Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo. I will say I should've read the item descriptions a bit more because I did not like the oil served with the Steak and I HATED the stuffing with the Chicken Marsala. The items were delivered hot and still delicious. Our waiter was quick and very descriptive with all responses to our questions on the menu. I would say a perfect 9/10 experience.
Now, the real test was if they could improve if not replicate the same visit we had but a week later. Now we came back a week later and wanted to see if anything would change for better or worse.
We were seated in the busier side of the restaurant this time. Lots of people walking around and definitely louder but still good to where my wife and I could talk to each other. We ordered the same items but without the oil on the steak and no stuffing with the chicken! Both items tasted FAR SUPERIOR with the items changed. I understand these two items are a symbol for the restaurant but personally, the Steak Gorgonzola medium quality was divine. I wish the chain would do without the oil they put on it. I asked for just extra Alfredo sauce with the pasta and it was the right call. Our waitress this time did a great job too, always quick service and friendly conversation at times. We felt welcomed similar to the first time.
As someone that doesn't believe big chains put in service for most customers as a small mom&pop restaurant does, this location definitely made a fan out of my wife and I. We will definitely be back for the fresh food and service again!
First time: 9/10
Second time: 10/10“

“My guy and I stumbled across this place after hanging out at the Railroad Museum. Fell in love instantly! We sat at the bar. The layout was comfortable, the ordering system (computer) was unique to us but I loved the way we could choose, back up and go forward in all the areas. (Also, we didn't need our cheaters!) The food was delicious! My mushroom burger made me swoon! The grilled corn was out of this world and I am going to try later today to see if I can even come close! The fried green tomatoes were a hit and my guy really liked the polish sausage(?) with the chili topping. The beer was great! We settled on the IPA with the word grackle in it - sorry can't remember it exactly. We were so impressed (we were visiting from New England) that we went back the next day to watch the Patriots game and were surrounded by football fans that were fun to talk with and we stayed for a Dallas game afterwards. LOVED EVERY MINUTE WE WERE THERE! The bartender (s) were fun and easy to talk to. We tipped them well!“

“They have a great selection of interesting bowls. The Tokyo Ginger bowl was good, but the sauce needs work (vinegary and could use more ginger), and the cucumber wasn't a good fit and had tough rind. We've enjoyed several other bowls before including Mediterranean and Fall Harvest. Overall this restaurant with focus on healthy meal options is a rare find on West Adams. Check them out.“

“While out shopping in Temple, we decided to try Panera Bread off 31st Street for lunch on Tuesday. Parking can be challenging at this location, but we were surprised to find that it wasn’t crowded inside, and the service was fast for food that is freshly prepared. We skipped the kiosk and went to the counter to order and were met with a friendly smile! Above average customer service, for sure!
Based on the recommendation of the woman taking our order, I got the Chicken Roma Asiago Bagel Stack. I really liked this sandwich! It wasn’t a large sandwich, but it was packed with flavor and very tasty. It came with a small bag of kettle chips. I will definitely get it again. My wife got the Cream of Chicken & Wild Rice Soup Bread bowl. The soup could have been hotter, but it was very good and the bread at Panera is always awesome. We just drank water, so the total lunch bill was less than $20. It wasn’t a ton of food, but it was sufficient, and the quality was really good.
Get away from the fried fast food and give Panera a try for lunch. You’ll get fresh food at a reasonable price, and at least at this location, fast and friendly service.“

“My friends and I just went for the Rocky Horror Picture Show and it was a blast. It was my first time there and I don’t know what’s been taking me so long to go. It gives old school theater and the owners are the nicest! I can’t wait to experience more movie nights with the girls!“
