“We had a chance to get some hot and delicious breakfast at River Oaks Cafe.
We love to visit mom and pop family oriented restaurants. We enjoyed the delicious omelet with toast and hot coffee and the huge pancakes with eggs , hash browns, and ham!!!! We enjoyed talking to the staff and learning more about the cafe.
We saw military and police officers eating there. I love the way they honor our fallen soldiers they have a wall with their pictures on it. This was a great place to visit, and the service was awesome!!!!!Please stop by and enjoy spending time with a great team, Racey, Daniel, and The Roc!!!!
Also, don't forget to order your delicious pumpkin pies!!!!“

“Nice place, our waiter was very kind. The coffee is one of the best i ever had in my life. The only issue i had was the steak i order was chewy, no matter how many times i keek on chewing i could not break the meat down and i was not going to swallow big chunks. Def will go back and try something else just to try their coffee.“

Update: After about 2 years, this place is still as wonderful! I highly recommend it for any gathering or just to eat out! Georgia (GiGi) was amazing! She had so much care and made us laugh sooooooo hard! Gigi knew when to come and take the order and even made sure we had everything we needed. She set the foundation for a wonderful experience. She also made sure we and our children were completely taken care of! Then Gayla, we met two years ago came and provided things for our children too. She’s left a lasting experience from even two years ago. Her section was in a different area, but she still made sure to treat us like loyalty!
Christie-the owner/manager was also the best! She always has a smile and made sure our experience was great! You can tell she truly cares so much about this place and make sure it thrives. We felt like family when we come here and hope they know how much it meant to us to treat us so wonderful!
We HIGHLY recommend this place! It’s a MUST!

“Updated review: district manager called, unfortunately I ordered through a 3rd party delivery service so they do not guarantee freshness it’s a different policy unless you order from their website or app. So I won’t order via 3rd parties again. And John credited me $50 to my member account which I appreciated although I’m not one to ask for favors, along with a phone call explanation. I would highly recommend ordering directly from Snap so when there’s issues, they can resolve them adequately. Updated rating since they really tried their best.
I ordered $101 to be exact, worth of meals for the week online. And then I realize today (the very next day) they all expire the DAY I ordered them. Every single one of them. So I paid to take their scraps off their hands I guess. Just terribly rude and not considerate to a paying customer to give them what should have gone in the trash.
I get maybe giving me one meal that expired the day I ordered but my whole order.“

“We moved here in 2022 and this is mine and my husband’s favorite donut shop in Aledo. The owners are always so nice. The prices are reasonable. They always seem to be close to sold out around 10am (weekends), so we try to get here early. The jumbo sausage is our go-to. I like their strawberry donuts, the icing they use wins me over every time compared to other places. Can never go wrong with their donut holes!“

“My little getaway spot when I want to just go have breakfast alone. Not a bad place service is usually pretty good it can be a little slow but not the worst. The location could be better but not a deal breaker if your looking for a spot to go and eat this will do and if your just traveling through and need a place to eat this place will do the job. The bathroom is always clean. At least when I go tables are nice, the booths are the go-to, but all in all, I recommend“

And props to the cooks.. those fajita egg breakfast tacos were big and delicious... looked better than picture in the menu... too bad I couldnt take a picture... keep up the good work guys!“

“My fiancée and I go nearly every weekend; originally, it was because iHop was the only place open after our weekly late night get together with some friends on Sunday. However, it is now something we’ve been doing for a few years now! The food isn’t fine dining, but it remains delicious nonetheless, and the pricing on it is tough to beat - especially when you use rewards points off the iHop app. Even beyond that, the staff is friendly and likes to build relationships with regulars. We’ve been being served by Katrina since 2022, and even after moving from 5 minutes away to 25 minutes away we’re still there on Sundays - you can find iHop food closer to home, sure, but you absolutely can’t find another waitress like her. Her cheerful personality is infectious, she’s an absolute joy to talk to, and she takes care of our table so well that it’s easy to forget you’re not a guest in her home at any given time. Will absolutely continue to go see her every Sunday!“

“My husband and I gave the service 5 stars of the manger on duty.. We came in the server was a little bit busy The manager sit us down, give us our drinks.. not only us but the others customers after our orders were taken…, the same manager delivered our food gave us all what we ask for like the hot sauce and syrup….. we were looking at her the whole time we were at the restaurant…she was checking on each and everyone to make sure everyone okay gave us our refills not only us but the others too….it was 8:30 pm when we came she is a black lady with strong accent she is not from here we know that for sure….. we will be back thanks for your service“

“Our Server, Cheri, not only earned a 5 star review for this store, but saved it from receiving a lower 2 or 3 star. My mother order something that requires tortillas, which apparently they did not have. We didnt find this out until everyone else got their food, meaning my mom now has to watch us eat or we have to wait while our food gets cold. Cheri was very apologetic and took full accountability, and when I asked why this happened, she said that was just told about it right now.
Her service was incredible and I won’t discount her for that. But the cook whose name I found out is Zacatacus, should communicate with servers. Cooks don’t deal with upset people, servers do, and she shouldn’t get a hard time about his mistake.“

“This Ihop is one of the best I have ever been too, the service and food was amazing and the managers where so welcoming I believe they said there names where daniela and ramon? Could be wrong but they came and made sure our food was amazing this store is great from managers to servers. We will defiantly be back ?
