KM Cafe

Been in a couple times and it really is such a pleasant little country diner/cafe where you are greeted when you walk in and treated like a friend. The chicken fried steak is great and so big! It's too big for me to consume the entire thing but I do try! My son had the chicken tenders and he's such a food critic but he thought these tenders were one of the best. Hard to mess up breakfast, just as hard to impress. Bacon and eggs are great, could have either had more hashbrowns or a little better. Pretty standard coffee for a cafe. Just to be clear I enjoy cafe food, and my expectations are compared to equivalent cafe experiences. They claimed to be understaffed, but in my experience they had plenty of people. We had a great experience here. It's a local cafe with a local feel. Everyone was super friendly. The decor was fun to look at and kept my kids engaged. We caught the tail end of lunch time, so they were out of a few options on the menu, but I understood that. My husband and I had the roast, which was wonderful and the salad bar.
