Nice Place, very underrated. Will be returning when driving through Brenham.

Manuel's Mexican Restaurant & Taqueria in Brenham is a small, home-town eatery known for its big flavors. This place has been a happy place, a go-to place, and a favorite Mexican restaurant. Manuel's offers standout dishes such as the Brenham Special, chicken fajitas, Chile Rellenos, and chicken enchiladas Verdes. The chicken fajitas are generously sized and flavorful, while their top-shelf margaritas are a popular choice. Other favorites include the beef street tacos and the Chef's special, chicken fajita enchiladas covered with chili gravy. Their skinny margarita is fantastic, and the Brenham Special is bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese and jalapeño. The tomatillo sauce is on point. The environment is typical neighborhood Mexican restaurant, nothing fancy but it's a friendly warm place and a great place to get Mexican comfort food. Armando, the owner, takes special care and makes everyone feel welcome. This is by far the best Mexican restaurant.
