This was an unexpected joy bomb. We were only in Brenham to visit the Social Security Office when we happened on this gem: spacious, high ceiling, a silent TV showing nothing but seascapes, and worship music playing over the speakers-- "Oceans" was playing upon our entrance, no less. On top of that, the food was exceptional from the complimentary bread to his Chicken Cacciatore and my Chicken Murphy. Overall, this was a nice place. What our guests and I hate is being rushed. When the appetizers are still being eaten and the salads come out and then the meal, it just piles up on you! And being in a booth, made it harder. The booth was small. I would have liked to see the appetizers cleared, the salads eaten and cleared, then the meals. Our waitress was good, the food was good but the after dinner coffee was cold! Overall, a 4.5 would be good.

Food was wonderful. 3 different dishes and all were great. I knocked it a star off on service and atmosphere. I'd suggest putting a little music on and talk to the staff about being a little more upbeat. They all seemed really down and depressed. That added with no music made me feel like I was in a library. Other than that, great food. Will definitely be back if in the area.
