This was my fourth time to dine at Chilmoli. I treated my daughter and her wife to this exquisite restaurant. The food was delicious , however the service lacked for this high end restaurant. We had reservations at 8:30 and didn't get seated until 20 minutes later. When we attempted to get cocktails while waiting, we were told we had to wait to get seated. The waiter was not enthusiastic about service. We asked for menus four times before we received one. It was disappointing.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted and attended by our waiters who explained the menu very well. The food was very flavorful and the menu options were many. The wagyu Burger and Matamoros tacos were amazing. Highly recommend would go again.

The El Classico drink made with Mezcal is a must-try, perfectly complementing the dishes. The service is impeccable, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The handmade tortillas are a standout, with must-try dishes including the fried cauliflower steak, Brussel sprouts, cowboy ribeye, and the banana dessert. The wagyu Burger and Matamoros tacos were amazing. The tomahawk steak was soo good! Pork belly tacos were good! Queso birria great to start with. Grilled octopus is delicious. The wine and cocktail offerings are extraordinary too! This is the go to spot for clients, and every item tried is amazing. Every server is attentive. This place should be the standard for how the rest of the higher end restaurants downtown should aim for. There is not a single miss, and the quality of the food exceeds the price. Please try every ceviche on the menu. The greatest dining experience in Brownsville by far. Incredible service, fantastic drinks & the best food in Brownsville. The guacamole with Chicharron is very tasteful, and the ceviche is also a big hit. Today was definitely an unforgettable experience. Chilmoli sets itself apart with its grace, caliber, and solute to Mexican cuisine, making it a fantastic spot in DT Brownsville for a unique dining experience.
