I miss the old vibe of having the lamps on. The owners son seems to have it too dark now no lights on only red light bulbs and the windows are covered with black curtains. It feels like a rock venue, el hueso is meant to be a coffee shop to relax read and have a nice conversation where you can see the other person. Just my opinion.

Hueso el Fraile is one of those rare places that truly feels like home to everyone. The environment is cozy, relaxed, and full of character, and the people there create a genuinely friendly, welcoming culture.

Ordered an americano however it wasn’t made with a typical espresso using an espresso machine, it was made using drip coffee. Service was slow despite it being an americano which is the easiest drink to make and was still charged $5 again despite again it being a fake americano.
