Great mom & pop restaurants are disappearing in Brownsville & being replaced by national chains. This is one of the few & best remaining establishments. Food is excellent, service is great. Highly recommend it. I especially like the American enchiladas. They are superb.

Went there for the Mexican lunch buffet. It did not disappoint. I loved the round cut crispy potatoes, the chicken milanesa, American cheese enchiladas, rice and beans, rice pudding with raisins and nuts. My son preferred the asado de puerco. Totally worth it 👌 👏 👏👏.

Customers have praised the restaurant's buffet offerings, particularly the Mariscos on Fridays during Lent, as well as the expertly cooked dishes made with fresh ingredients. The staff is accommodating and treats customers well. A singer sometimes shows up and sings some mariachi songs, making it a great treat for special occasions.
