This is a family owned and operated mexican restaurant that makes really good food! We have been here many times and I love entomatadas! My husband loved their menudo and their mole (it is a little spicy and he loves that). I always like their biscuits with butter and jam! It is a quiet little place that serves good food and we are regulars here! Totally recommend! They also usually have hand made corn and flour tortillas.
I encountered a frustrating situation at the restaurant today. Initially, the waitress took my drink and food order but never returned to my table. She failed to bring my fideo, chips, or even the basic requirement of limes. Additionally, it took more than 30 minutes for my enchiladas to arrive. I don't believe it was solely the fault of the kitchen because other tables that arrived after me were served their food before me. This experience is unusual for this establishment,...
It was good for some basic Mexican food. We had the tacos al pastor.. which came with just onion and cilantro.. no pineapple ..double corn tortillas, and it was better with the green salsa. Also, Had a caldo de res..there's only one size, and it's huge, so make sure you have enough hunger to finish it, or you can always ask for a to-go cup..which we did. It was also okay.
