This little café is charming, the food is good, but the service was terrible! There was only one other table occupied when we arrived, so no legitimate reason for the slow service. The waitress was on her phone, almost the entire time we were there, and she kept announcing how excited she was that Dallas preseason game starts this evening. But my biggest complaints are was how snarky, rude, and ungrateful she was. I really regret leaving a 20% tip…you cash out at the register...read full review

Our Daily Bread offers the best cheese burger and fries, with perfectly toasted bun, fresh tomatoes, and melty cheese. The breakfast menu includes a wonderful chicken fried steak, mash tators, and green beans, a must-try according to a satisfied customer. The food is always great, served hot and fast. The club sandwiches are absolutely delicious with homemade bread and nice thick slices of ham and turkey. It is traditional food served in a clean and friendly environment, and the waitress was wonderful and personable. This lovely little restaurant is very reasonably priced and busy with locals.
