First time ordering food . A local since 2005 it took us a long time but my husband finally took me there. Originally from Chicago we wanted a Reuben and so far no good ones here. Until Readfields it was delicious !! The marble rye , homemade thousand island crunchy sauerkraut I’m thinking homemade as well. Then the corn beef as good if not better then Chi town. Ordered 3 chopped beef sandwiches. They were the worst of the worst. Try three steps below a sloppy Joe sandwich. Very. Very disappointed. Will Not recommend this place or return. I actually ended up there by error, via Google. We were actually trying to find Lamar & Niki’s Pit.
Best muffuletta I’ve had outside of New Orleans. Thanks for a great sandwich !
