This is the best place to go country western dancing in the Texas Hill Country, and it's worth the drive. Wednesday nights are for the older crowd like me, and the live bands are amazing and keep you dancing all night. The band on Wednesday starts playing at 6pm, so get there early to get a good seat. Pardners is a typical texas Honkytonk. Smoking is allowed. Fun older crowd. Jukebox and karaoke. Small dance floor, friendly bartenders and the owner/manager is really nice. Prices are more than reasonable. They have a good selection of chips to snack on. Warpath pizza Nextdoor if you get hungry. Occasionally a tamale guy stops in and you can buy fresh hot tamales. Partners is a club definitely not what I call a bar but it's an awesome place to go. You like to dance it's got the floor for it. Good music friendly people. There is a wonderful little barbecue Barn right beside it has really good food they've got the bacon wrapped jalapenos with cream cheese and they are big also their barbecue is one of the best around. I do understand that there's a new owner and unfortunately I haven't got to go visit yet.
