“Stopped in for breakfast before heading out. The food was good as always but a little over cooked. No big deal still good. My waitress (Red was her name) was great. She made sure that I didn't need anything and kept my coffee cup full. Made me feel at home. I didn't say anything about my meal being a little over cooked. It wasn't her fault and it was still good. I'll be back next time I'm in town.“

“Knocked everything out of the park! Fried pickles, hushpuppies, and corn nuggets were perfect! Fried Shrimp and Catfish hit the spot and were super fresh. Gumbo was better than most but not amazing. Such a good spot for any occasion and everything is super well priced. $60 for 2 ppl not going light with anything. Can't beat it for real, and our server DeAndra was amazing!“
“Oh my GOSH !! Had not been to Z Tejas in years. What a comeback of a Brand ! Went on a Sunday Noon, Awesome entertainment, the service was over the top always with a smile. The Margaritas were tasty, made to order, with a huge selection ! The food was over the top ! Try the Catfish Beignets for an app ! Whew ! As close to New Orleans as yo can get ! What a great relaxed space, very comfortable, and feels like a neighborhood gathering spot ! Much needed in the South I-35 corridor.“
“I loved the place. It's different then the one by my house. This one in Austin has cool liquor bottles on display in a locked up cabinet and between the two shelves is a fish tank. It really adds pizazz to a place. I know because at home when people visit they love watching our turtles and fish swim around. Also at Cheddar's the waiter was so so friendly.“
“First time to this restaurant. Great wait staff and greeter was very nice. Just a short wait time to be seated. Great food and prices are reasonable. Servings are plentiful. Chicken fried steak and shrimp skewers is what we ate.Highly recommend. Great atmosphere. Love the location in older side of town. ?“
