This looks like to be a one man operation with the pit master/owner running the show. He was very personable and friendly. The place was clean and orderly. They even had a pool table. I don't much about how BBQ is prepared, but I've consumed a lot of it. The beef brisket was moist and freshly made. It does have a heavy smoked flavor with bitter notes. Birds has tasty food, great portions and a good price. This is our second time visiting this bbq joint. The owner is super nice and attentive. We will be back for sure during our next trip from ATX.

Very friendly staff. Made our tacos with great care. Even gave us jalapeños for the tacos. They have a place where you can play disc frisbee, shoot dirts and play pool. Good place to bring your family for lunch.
