Food was good. My whole family felt the server wanted to be anywhere but at work. Like she couldn't care less. Wanted to get back to laughing and giggling with the other servers
The atmosphere is nice, not too bring not too dark and not a lot of really loud music. The waitress was nice, not the best I've had but did a decent job (although she didn't click all the correct things for our tickets and if I hadn't caught it it would have cost me another $15.) The end of meal tickets are confusing....menu says Chicken Parm is 16.95 but you get a ticket that says "Parmigan Dish 15.95 + Chicken 1.00" the childerens order is worse...order...
I keep wanting to like Val's since they are close. Their red sauce seems awfully sweet to
me, the Alfredo is just missing something, and the chicken is inevitably cooked 5 minutes too long. I try it about once a year and the service has improved from my first experience in 2017, but it seems like it's food for the masses as opposed to food that some will love and others won't.
