“Robyn and John have created a special live music venue. They've managed to improve it substantially yet still retain the original dive bar vibe. As the Backbone's reputation grows, it attracts a higher quality of singers/songwriters and it's not uncommon to have out of state visitors traveling in to see a show (we've met quite a few). The restroom situation is rough, and the bar service can get overwhelmed so have a little patience with the staff and enjoy the atmosphere of this amazing place.“

“Super food! Friendly atmosphere and great music! Definitely a highlight of our stay on river road! The shuttles are quick the tables in the water make ya feel welcome and the staff are some of the nicest on the river!!“
