“My wife and I rotate breakfast places most weekends but Eggsellent Cafe has become our default place to go. The staff and management are incredibly nice and welcoming. The food is consistently excellent and they probably have our favorite coffee. The portions are large and you always feel as if you got you money's worth. My only critique is that I wish the coffee mugs were bigger because I'm always asking for a refill. Otherwise, this place is great and should be on everyone's radar. 👍“

“First time visit and I’m so impressed. I ordered the California Wrap & fries. Filled with quality turkey, avacado, chopped tomatoes (yumm) and fresh lettuce. Fries were hot and crispy. Iced tea was perfect, not weak, good taste.

The restaurant is so comfortable, clean, and cute, too. Nice parking area.

The vibe is classic diner comfort, the staff is friendly and quick, and every plate that comes out of the kitchen looks like real home cooking.​ The breakfast here is outstanding. From Migas and corn tortillas to hearty omelets and toasted English Muffins, everything is hot, fresh, and generously portioned. Coffee is constantly topped off, and prices are very reasonable, which makes it easy to turn “let’s grab a quick bite” into a regular habit.​ If you’re in or around Carrollton and want a great sit-down breakfast instead of another chain, Pete’s Cafe is a must-try.“

“We stopped here for coffee and breakfast before work and were impressed with how calm and welcoming the environment felt. Compared to other cafés nearby, this one had a more relaxed atmosphere and friendlier service. Everything came out quickly, but nothing felt rushed. “My wife and I eat breakfast almost every weekend after our morning workout. It’s a little bit of “our time” on the weekend and the staff and food has always been great. But a few weeks ago they were busy and although the meal was good the service was a little lacking and upon checkout our server’s assistant was short and seemed irritated. We were surprised and as we left were talking about it and hostess overheard and we saw her go back and immediately say something to our server. We chalked it up to being short staffed and busy. Came back the next week and everything was great. Came again today and everything was great AND our server from the bad day waited on us and was great. Here’s the part that impressed me, as we were checking out she stopped and apologized for the service from a couple weeks before, didn’t make excuses, said she’d addressed the issue with her assistant and thanked us for coming back. Apologizing is a lost art, and we appreciated it so much that not only did she not get defensive she remembered the situation, it had clearly been on her mind since that day and she wanted to make it right. That tells me Barney’s is here for the long haul and has leadership that is inspiring the employees. Great job Barney’s! We will continue to our weekend breakfast dates for a long long time.“

I was staying at the hotel next-door and didn’t wanna spend $17 on a buffet so I came here and got a six dollar bacon egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich And it was really solid.“

“I was on a matcha date with a girl I met on Facebook dating. We agreed to meet at Cafe HwaSan. Upon entering, the cashier was acting weird/awkward and I just thought it was because she was young and unsure of herself in her duties. Turns out it was probably because I had my fly wide open and broadcasting to everyone. She didn’t even let me know the whole time. What kind of customer service is that to allow me to embarrass myself on a first date. I will NEVER come back for dates here because they sabotage love. Elite-tier matcha lattes tho. I will be back for them. Fully zipped.“
